"Your Highness, Xiahou Yu pays respect to Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess!"
Xiahou Yu performed a standard bow towards Hua Qingcheng, but his tone did not show much respect for this princess from the common people.
"Your Highness, you have misunderstood. I... am now the instructor of the Imperial College's Archery and Horseback Riding Course, and I am not here to cause any trouble."
Xiahou Yu gave Hua Qingcheng a slight smile, tossed his sword to the male servant beside him, and then swaggered past Hua Qingcheng and the other two. Without even having to show his ID badge, Xiahou Yu walked straight through the Imperial College's gates.
Twenty-year-old Xia Houyu was once a student at the Imperial College, but she had already graduated. After learning that the princess was going to attend the Imperial College, she used her connections to get a job as a horse riding and archery instructor, purely to find fault and cause trouble for Hua Qingcheng.
"Sister-in-law, although Xia Houyu is a playboy, she graduated from the Imperial College with the first place in all subjects. She has certain ability. She has always coveted my brother. Now she suddenly appears here. I'm afraid she has no good intentions. You must be careful." Situ Wanqing frowned slightly and said worriedly.
"Doudou is right, Qingcheng. I'm afraid Xiahou Yu will try to trip you up. You must be careful and don't fall into her trap."
Situ Ye looked at Xiahou Yu's arrogant back, and his originally good mood became much worse.
"Okay, I'll remember that. It's getting late, Aye, you should go back earlier. I have to go in too, otherwise I'll be late."
Hua Qingcheng gently pinched the back of Situ Ye's hand, and then walked towards the gate of the Imperial College with Situ Wanqing.
"Wait for me, wait for me!"
Hua Qingcheng and Situ Wanqing had just walked to the gate of the Imperial College when a panting figure flew up behind them.
"Qi Yan?"
"Why are you here?"
Hua Qingcheng couldn't help but twitch her lips when she saw Feng Qiyan wearing a mini version of the Imperial College girls' uniform.
"Well, it's hard to explain. You'll understand later. Anyway... I was forced to come to school."
Feng Qiyan curled her lips at Hua Qingcheng, then looked at Yu Jingyang who was following behind her with a resentful look.
"Your Highness!"
Yu Jingyang was about to salute Hua Qingcheng, but she also raised her hand to stop him.
"We are all family, there is no need to be so polite, uncle. Is he... okay?" Hua Qingcheng said meaningfully.
"Everything is fine in the mansion. Thank you, Princess Crown." Yu Jingyang smiled warmly and behaved gracefully and appropriately, looking like a noble man.
"Qi Yan, thank you Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess for taking care of me." Yu Jingyang nodded to Hua Qingcheng before turning and leaving.
Looking at Yu Jingyang's graceful figure leaving, Hua Qingcheng felt a little warm in her heart.
The Feng family sent eight-year-old Feng Qiyan to study at the Imperial College, probably to create more opportunities for her and Feng Lingyan to meet.
Although the Imperial College was the highest institution of learning in Laifeng State, it also had a gifted class specifically for exceptionally gifted children. Feng Qiyan could indeed attend the gifted class with her qualifications, but doing so would mean she would miss out on many of the joys of her childhood.
"Let's go, little one."
Hua Qingcheng touched her cousin Feng Qiyan's head lovingly, thanking Feng Qiyan for sacrificing her "small self" to fulfill her "big self".
