Chapter 297 First Day of School
As a new kindergarten student, Mao Mao received many gifts.
A new schoolbag, new stationery, new toys, a new water bottle, and a small blanket for afternoon naps, not to mention many other odds and ends.
The gifts were wrapped in colored paper and tied with big bows. Mao Mao was having a great time unwrapping them, as if she were back at the aftermath of her birthday party.

As soon as she opened her eyes, without her mother even calling her, she jumped out of bed, rolled over, slid to the floor, and rushed outside.

She leaned against the car window, watching the street recede outside with great interest.
The road to kindergarten was familiar with many sights, and she even passed by a familiar pancake shop. However, nothing could attract Mao Mao's attention today.
When the car stopped in front of the kindergarten, she peered out the window and saw many children wearing the same school uniform as her walking into the school, greeting the teachers at the school gate warmly.

Mao Mao immediately ran to the school gate, holding her little head high and standing straight.
After one photo was taken, Old Madam Lou said sternly, "Take a photo of me and Mao Mao as well."

After taking pictures of Old Madam Lou, they took pictures of Xia Xiaoxiang and the First Madam. Mao Mao stood in place with a big smile on her face, like a landmark, allowing family members to take photos in turn.
With limited film available, Lou Hongjian eventually asked someone to take a group photo of them.
By the time all the photos were taken, it was almost time for kindergarten to start class.

She turned back to wave goodbye to her mother and the others, then looked longingly at her brother: "Brother..."

Mao Mao was happy.
She happily followed Teacher Ye to the small class classroom.
The first time a transfer student entered the class, countless eyes turned to look at Mao Mao with curiosity.

She blinked in confusion, her little face bewildered: "Teacher, I'm Mao Mao."
Teacher Ye: "..."

Teacher Ye had no choice but to change her words: "Little Mao Mao, please sit down in that seat."
