"ah?"
"Really. It was an assignment given by His Majesty, and it's rather urgent."
Mr. and Mrs. Chi believed it, but they were still worried, so they asked, "Then what exactly did they go to do?"
The two elderly people were still worried that there might be some danger.
They still have two children, why can't someone else do it?
Chi Tang said in a serious tone, "Father and Mother, how can they tell others about the task assigned by His Majesty?"
The elderly couple knew nothing about this matter; they believed whatever their family told them.
After all, they don't understand this kind of thing.
"That's right, it's important business. It's good that it's important business." Old Man Chi breathed a sigh of relief.
As people get older, they tend to worry more and more.
Worried about this, and uneasy about that.
Little did they know that the younger generation is much smarter and more capable than they are, and they don't need to worry about them at all.
"It's getting late, let's buy some things and go visit the Yang residence," Aunt Chi said.
I've been here all day and haven't even greeted the Yang family yet.
It was all in such a rush.
I wonder if the Yang family will find fault with me.
However, whether they were being picky or not, the Chi family didn't really care.
"Going to the Yang residence? Is it to visit Great-Grandma? I want to go too! I want to go too!"
Changsheng suddenly appeared out of nowhere, excitedly shouting.
Changsheng is so young; he should be at an age where he forgets things easily.
But I always remembered my great-grandmother!
He kept saying he wanted to go.
Aunt Chi frowned: "Where did you come from? Didn't you learn martial arts from your master?"
"My master said I can rest today!"
Changsheng answered very loudly.
He just wandered off somewhere.
"Grandma, please take me to see my great-grandmother. I miss her so much."
Changsheng rushed over and hugged his grandmother's leg, acting spoiled.
He really, really misses his great-grandmother.
Aunt Chi wanted to refuse: "We had an agreement, you have to..."
"I'm still a child, Grandma, please, I really miss my great-grandmother so much..."
As he spoke, Changsheng burst into tears.
It wasn't a tantrum or rolling on the ground crying; it was a pouting, aggrieved cry.
Tears streamed down her face, making her look pitiful like a puppy that had been abandoned.
Seeing him like this, Aunt Chi couldn't bring herself to refuse.
"Okay, okay, Grandma will take you, but you have to be good. You have to go whenever Grandma says you're leaving, or Grandma won't take you to see Great-Grandma next time."
what to do?
As people get older, their hearts really soften.
Seeing the little one crying so pitifully, I just couldn't bring myself to harden my heart.
Why.
She can't be allowed to see the fourth brother's child when he's born!
It's not that I don't want to watch, it's that I'm worried I'll spoil my child like my mother did.
They'll end up like her.
"Really? Grandma, you're the best! I knew you loved me the most. You're my favorite person."
Changsheng was so happy that he kept saying all sorts of nice things.
Aunt Chi pinched her grandson's nose and said with a laugh, "Just like your little aunt, all you know how to say nice things."
My daughter is the same way.
"Hehe, that's great! It would be wonderful if I could be as capable as my aunt."
Changsheng was overjoyed.
Is Grandma praising him?
"In the future, Changsheng will make Auntie even more powerful! In the future, Changsheng will be able to knock down bad guys with just one punch!"
Chi Tang said proudly.
She had seen Changsheng practice martial arts; the little guy was very diligent.
The family of four visited the Yang residence.
The Yang family seemed unsurprised by their arrival, and Madam Yang received them as usual.
"Sisters, you should have let us know in advance if you were coming so we could help you. You've come all the way to the capital, why are you being so polite?"
Mrs. Yang smiled and made polite remarks.
Aunt Chi: "We made this decision on short notice, so it was very rushed and we didn't tell anyone. We just settled in, and since the eldest brother and the others are still busy, we came to see you first."
"Great-aunt, where is Great-grandmother? I'll go see Great-grandmother first."
Immortality cannot wait any longer.
He didn't want to listen to the adults talk any longer; he just wanted to see his great-grandmother.
Changsheng's anxious appearance made Madam Yang sigh with emotion: "Changsheng is still so close to his great-grandmother."
"This child has changed a lot; he's a good child now," Aunt Chi replied with a smile.
So what if I'm close to my great-grandmother?
Although they don't like it, they would be even more dissatisfied if Changsheng forgot about his great-grandmother.
After all, Old Madam Yang had no complaints about longevity.
Although he was spoiled, it was because all the good things were given to Changsheng.
For Changsheng, his great-grandmother was a good person.
So it's perfectly normal for a child to miss their great-grandmother.
"Yes, Changsheng seems much more obedient now." Madam Yang echoed Aunt Chi's words without arguing.
It seemed that none of the younger members of the family were home; not a single one came out.
Neither Aunt Chi nor her husband asked.
They had no right to ask about other people's family affairs.
"We heard that they're getting engaged, so we specially prepared some gifts."
The man to be engaged is Madam Yang's youngest son.
After much deliberation, we've finally made a decision.
Although the youngest son was not entirely satisfied, Mrs. Yang and her husband were very pleased.
