Chapter 56: Taken Away
After a while, Taibai came over to seduce He Qing to go to the lotus pond of the Bodhisattva to pick carp. He Qing popped his head out of the spirit pond and said, "Let's go now?"
"Yes." Taibai asked him, "What color do you want?"
He Qing thought for a moment and said, "I don't know, let's go and see for ourselves."
Duan Chenhui picked him up. He Qing probably just wanted to take a look: "Let's go."
He Qing was lying in Duan Chenhui's arms, feeling a little drowsy. Maybe he had eaten too much recently and felt too sleepy. He pulled himself together and after a while arrived at the Bodhisattva's lotus pond. The lotus pond was very large, stretching for almost a thousand miles.
He Qing wanted to jump down, but was caught by Duan Chenhui again: "We will paddle the boat after we get down."
When they got down there, a boy in white was waiting for them. He bowed and said, "The Bodhisattva has instructed that the two dragon kings can choose whoever they want."
"Where did he go?" Taibai looked around but didn't see anyone.
The boy replied, "The Bodhisattva went out for something and I don't know where he went. I followed the two dragon kings to visit the lotus pond."
"Xiao Hei, you are still so serious." Taibai smiled. Xiao Hei is also a carp spirit... What does it mean that the Bodhisattva kept him here to greet them?
"My name is not Xiao Hei." Xian Tong retorted.
Taibai shook his head and waved his hand to get out a small boat and called Duan Chenhui: "Then come on up, we will see for ourselves."

Duan Chenhui was not in a hurry. He touched He Qing without saying anything. As a result, after swimming around the lotus pond, He Qing still hadn't made up his mind.
Taibai looked towards the sky and suddenly saw someone standing on a lotus platform flying towards him. Wow, the owner of the lotus pond finally appeared. What a coincidence.
"Greetings to the two Dragon Kings." The Bodhisattva stopped and smiled, "I'm sorry for not coming in person to greet you."
Taibai jumped onto the shore, his lips curled up: "I'm sorry for not welcoming you. I think it's just right. We've finished our shopping."
The Bodhisattva glanced at him and smiled slightly: "I wonder which koi you chose?"
"No." Duan Chenhui said, "I'm really sorry to bother you."
He Qing nodded along with Duan Chenhui. He had no idea how to choose, so he simply didn't choose.
"It's okay." Bodhisattva smiled unchanged, "But I have a recommendation."
"Oh? Who?" Taibai thought that he had finally gotten to the point.
Duan Chenhui also raised his eyebrows, and then heard the Bodhisattva say: "I wonder what you think of the small picture?"
The fairy boy standing next to him widened his eyes: "Buddha, I——"
The Bodhisattva turned his head and glanced at him indifferently, and the fairy boy kept silent.

He Qing looked at Xian Tong: "Can he play with me?"
"Yes." The Bodhisattva smiled and said, "Xiaotu is a big carp that can carry you flying, up to the sky and into the earth."
He Qing's eyes lit up: "Then will you go up with us? If not, forget it."
The fairy boy named Xiaotu glanced at the Bodhisattva, then looked at them, and after a moment he said, "I do."
Taibai didn’t know why the Bodhisattva arranged it this way. He thought about it for a moment and even counted with his fingers, but he couldn’t figure out the result. Was it a good thing or a bad thing?
Duan Chenhui did not say anything, and the Bodhisattva closed his eyes slightly: "Then let them go, Xiaotu."
"Yes." Xiaotu turned into a carp and swam over.
He Qing looked at him and found that it was a black carp.
"Then we'll go. Bye." Duan Chenhui felt a little uneasy and took He Qing and the newly caught carp back.
Halfway through the walk, Taibai said, “Maybe He Qing is about to sprout, otherwise he wouldn’t do this.”
Duan Chenhui felt relieved after hearing what Taibai said. He took the black carp back and observed it for a few days. He kept it motionless in the spirit pond and did not make any extreme moves.
That day He Qing ran over and asked Black Carp: "Do you like it here?"

Sun Tu carried He Qing out of the Spirit Pond and into the Heavenly River. They swam farther and farther away. This was not the first time He Qing came to the Heavenly River. He greeted the big fish in the Heavenly River: "How have you been recently?"
