Chapter 3 I Hold Your Hand
On the other side, Lu Lin took his new sister to the largest shopping mall in town, put on sunglasses, put on a mask, and was fully armed and ready to go.
These actions were actually a bit strange, but Tang Wan just sat there obediently and watched Lu Lin do them.
Seeing her like this, Lu Lin also put a pair of sunglasses on her.
Then he asked, "Do you want to wear the same sunglasses as me?"
Tang Wan shook her head slowly.
"Huh? You don't want to wear the same sunglasses as me?" Lu Lin squatted down curiously, wanting to know what was going on in this little guy's head.
Tang Wan reached out her hand, took Lu Lin's hand, and then jumped out of the car.
Lu Lin looked at Tang Wan in confusion, but saw Tang Wan move his hands and gesture a few times.
The staff member nearby guessed and said, "She seemed to be saying that she was holding your hand."
After saying that, he muttered quietly: "Maybe he thought you, Teacher Lu, were someone with eye problems."
It was the first time that Lu Lin was treated like this, and he was a little curious.
Then he saw Tang Wan pulling him towards the mall.
The staff wanted to step forward to stop him, but saw Lu Lin put his index finger between his lips and said, "Shh."
He shook Tang Wan's hand and said, "Then you must hold it tightly."
Tang Wan couldn't speak, but slowly tightened her little hand, holding Lu Lin's hand tightly, as if she was afraid that she would get lost with him.
Lu Lin originally planned to take Tang Wan to the most famous store in the mall to buy clothes, but Tang Wan dragged Lu Lin to the basement.
Lu Lin raised an eyebrow, which was completely hidden by his sunglasses, and then asked, "Is there any clothing store on the basement floor?"
Tang Wan nodded, without letting go of her hand, she stretched out her short legs and walked forward with a whooshing sound.
It was Lu Lin’s first time to come to the underground floor to buy things, and everything was a little new to him.
He looked around, but all he saw were pirated clothes with big brand names but missing letters.
Tang Wan picked up a pink short-sleeved shirt from the stall, tried it on herself, then raised it with one hand and shouted to the owner, "Ahhh!"
The shop owner seemed to be an old acquaintance of Tang Wan. When he saw Tang Wan, he curved his eyebrows, bent down and asked, "You are too small to wear this dress."
Tang Wan's beautiful eyes rolled around, she pointed at Lu Lin beside her, and then raised the clothes in her hand.
"You want to wear the same clothes as him?"
Tang Wan's eyes lit up and she nodded excitedly.
The owner glanced at Lu Lin and rolled his eyes in disdain.
This man looks like he is rich, but he still wants Tang Wan to pay. He is so stingy.
I don’t know how much garbage Tang Guan picked up to save up the twenty yuan.
Lu Lin had no idea what the shop owner was thinking. He subconsciously wanted to stop the kid from buying the cheap-looking clothes, but when Tang Wan took out two pieces, he stopped buying his own things.
The two pieces of clothing, one large and one small, seemed to imply something.
Then she saw Tang Guan take out a handful of crumpled change from the pocket of her dirty skirt and hand it to the owner.
The owner put the items back into his bag without even counting them, and then picked up a cheap-looking light green skirt from the stall and handed it to Tang Wan.
She said, "Okay, since you've been here so many times, I'll sell it to you at a lower price and give you a skirt."
A slight blush appeared on Tang Guan's pale little face, and she looked a little embarrassed.
He didn't reach out to take it, but just kept shaking his head.
The shop owner was a carefree girl who stuffed the skirt directly into Tang Wan's hands.
Then he glanced at Lu Lin beside him with a look that seemed to want to say something but hesitated. When they were about to leave, he made up his mind and said, "Hey, can you be nicer to her?"
Lu Lin has a bad temper to begin with, and being treated in this way, it is already his limit not to get angry.
Hearing the girl say this again, she seemed to realize something and waved to the staff not far from them.
The staff member trotted over to Lu Lin and asked flatteringly, "Brother Lu, what are your instructions?"
Lu Lin pointed to the milk tea shop next to him and said, "Take her over there and have a seat. I'll be there soon."
Tang Wan looked at Lu Lin's back, and obediently followed the staff member Xiao Zhang to the milk tea shop opposite. Then she sat there without ordering anything, her eyes never leaving Lu Lin.
After a long time, Lu Lin came back from the shop owner.
Tang Wan skipped towards Lu Lin, carefully grabbed the corner of Lu Lin's clothes, and looked at Lu Lin with her beautiful eyes, which made his heart soften all of a sudden.
He squatted down, looked Tang Wan in the eye, and asked, "Why don't you order milk tea?"
Tang Wan shook her head, indicating that she didn't want to drink, but just looked at Lu Lin nervously, like a stray kitten who finally found a roof to rely on.
Lu Lin touched her head and then picked up Tang Wan.
But I was thinking about what the owner had just said.
"This girl Tang Wan is a bit unlucky."
"She might have a natural tendency to please others. As long as someone offers to adopt her, she will take the initiative to bring them to my place and buy them small gifts."
"But every time, Tang Wan would be sent back."
"You don't know how hard it is for her to save such a small amount of money. I don't know if it's really hard for her to make ends meet in that orphanage. Tang Wan always wears tattered clothes and picks up trash everywhere."
"Those old ladies felt sorry for Tang Wan, so they set aside a small area for her to pick up the trash. But even so, it's not easy for her to save twenty dollars."
She took out the handful of change and said with some melancholy, "This will probably take her more than a month to pick up trash."
Lu Lin was holding a plastic bag in his hand, which contained the clothes that Tang Wan bought for him.
Seeing this, Xiao Zhang reached out to take the plastic bag, but Lu Lin dodged it without a trace.
Lu Lin asked Tang Wan to choose a cup of milk tea, and then said: "Don't worry, I won't abandon you for no reason."
Tang Wan's little hands tightly grasped Lu Lin, her little mouth tightly pursed, making her look like a kitten pretending to be serious.
Then Lu Lin scratched his nose and said, "Let's go. I'll take you back to my house first."
When Xiao Zhang heard this, he looked at Tang Wan in surprise.
I was thinking it was awesome.
This little girl is really good. She easily took down their most difficult prince.
Tang Wan held the milk tea, looked at Lu Lin, opened her mouth and whispered "Ah!"
She wanted to say something, but couldn't speak.
He could only silently grab the corner of Lu Lin's clothes, as if he was grabbing a hard-earned life-saving straw.
