Chapter 5 You Are the Best

Chapter 5 You Are the Best

Lu Lin reached out and rubbed Tang Wan's soft hair, then said, "Then wait here for me. Don't jump off the stool. It's very dangerous."

"I'll get you some water."

Tang Wan nodded and really stood on the stool obediently, like a cute kitten.

Lu Lin quickly turned around and ran to get some water. During this process, Lu Lin felt for the first time that it was really inconvenient for him to buy such a big house.

Tang Guan stood on tiptoe, imitated Lu Lin's actions, stretched out her little hand, and touched the red button.

With a "ding" sound, the induction cooker that was running just now stopped working.

But this voice scared Tang Wan.

She opened her grape-sized eyes and looked at the induction cooker, thinking that this thing was amazing.

Just as Tang Wan was observing the induction cooker, a somewhat indifferent child's voice suddenly sounded behind her, interrupting her actions.

"Who are you? Why are you at my uncle's house?"

Tang Wan was slightly stunned when he heard the unfamiliar voice, then slowly turned around.

A boy of eight or nine years old was standing at the kitchen door.

The clothes he wore were the most expensive and neatest clothes Tang Wan had ever seen in her limited knowledge.

With an indifferent expression on his face, he looked like the stinky-faced little tiger in the animal world shown on old TV.

When Tang Wan heard his words, she was a little nervous and a little scared, shaking her hands and starting to use sign language, trying to explain why she was here.

[My older brother brought me here.]

However, the boy in front of him did not know sign language, and his eyes looked at Tang Wan more and more unfriendly.

He reached out and was about to grab Tang Wan's hand, trying to pull her off the stool.

Tang Wan remembered the last words that the older brother named Lu Lin said, telling her not to leave the stool, so she anxiously grabbed the edge of the marble table, unwilling to let go.

He was screaming "Ahhh" in a hurry.

It was like a weak kitten being bullied, waving its claws and causing some minor skin injuries to the bad guy.

This action is too dangerous.

Tang Guan would fall if he wasn't careful.

The little boy naturally had no intention of hurting Tang Wan. Although he moved quickly and with great force, he still stood carefully in front of Tang Wan, so that even if Tang Wan fell, she would only fall on him.

Tang Wan was so anxious that she burst into tears.

She didn't know why this little brother wanted to touch her. She only knew that many adults only liked obedient children.

I have to listen to that big brother, stand here obediently and don't run around.

Otherwise, she will be thrown away.

The garbage thrown on the ground and the garbage in the trash can are recycled by the recycling lady, but no one will recycle the garbage that is thrown away.

Tang Guan looks forward to the day when he can live in a house by himself.

Want to have a family, like the dean and her daughter.

She doesn't need a very big room, she doesn't eat much, and she could eat even less.

She just didn't want to be left alone again, and she didn't want to be alone.

She wants to have a home.

However, the little brother in front of her seemed to be destroying Tang Wan's wish and dragged her back to reality.

I want Tang Wan to leave this fairytale world.

Tang Guan bit her lips tightly to prevent her tears from spilling out.

No one likes a yelling child.

She doesn't want to be a child that no one likes.

She needs to be more sensible and behave better.

This way someone will like you.

But it really hurts and I’m so tired.

Tang Wan felt like his hands were about to break.

Her tears were falling, one by one, onto the ground and on her clothes, forming a small water stain, which made her look pitiful.

Tang Wan was even more frightened because she couldn’t see clearly.

Finally, Tang Wan could no longer hold on. He let go of the stone table with both hands. The light in his eyes suddenly dimmed, and he lost his strength and let himself fall backwards.

He fell hard on the little boy.

"hiss!"

The little boy gasped, but stretched out his hands to protect Tang Wan and prevented her from falling to the ground.

The little boy used his hands and feet to get up from the ground, and pulled Tang Wan to help her stand up, but when he saw Tang Wan's face full of tears, he was stunned.

"You, don't cry."

He reached out, took out a handkerchief from his pocket, and hurriedly wiped the tears from Tang Wan's face.

He wiped it and sighed.

To be honest, he had never seen anyone who could shed tears without making any sound in his life.

Those big eyes, with tears in them, look really miserable.

At this moment, the little boy's body suddenly rose up and was lifted up like a little chicken.

Lu Lin looked at Tang Wan, who was crying silently on the ground, and then looked at the bad guy in his hand. He frowned and said in a bad tone: "Stinky boy, who asked you to come to my house?"

"You're here, but why are you bullying the kids here?"

As he said this, he threw the troublesome kid in his hand onto the large snake-shaped sofa beside him, then squatted down and picked up the poor little guy who was crying so hard that he was out of breath.

Her tone was unusually gentle, and she had the patience she didn't have for a brat: "What's wrong? Did Brother Lu Ze bully you? Can I help you beat him up?"

"Let's beat him together."

Tang Wan wiped her tears and shook her head, pointing to the small stool next to her, patted Lu Lin's arm, and asked her to put herself on it.

Lu Lin was a little confused, but he did as he was told.

Tang Wan, standing on the stool, pointed at himself and then at the stool, looking a little clumsy.

And Lu Lin somehow understood what Tang Wan meant.

She was saying that she was very good.

Instead of running around, he just stayed on the little stool and didn't go anywhere.

Lu Lin looked at Tang Wan with red eyes and felt that his hardened heart softened all of a sudden.

So good.

Really so well behaved.

He squatted down, his eyes level with Tang Wan's, then reached out and carefully touched Tang Wan's hair, and said in a gentle voice: "Well, I know, you are the best."

Tang Guan's eyes lit up instantly, shining like a star.

Lu Ze climbed up from the sofa and looked at his uncle's "child-deceiving" look, feeling a little curious and surprised.

Then his gaze fell on the little girl who had remained silent, and he tilted his head.

To be honest, he has never had such a quiet peer around him.

It looked like a skinny stray cat, small and fragile.

Lu Ze moved his palm, thinking about the touch of Tang Wan just now, and felt a little confused.

It turns out that little girl is so small.

Tang Guan quickly calmed down, took the water handed to him by Lu Lin, stood on tiptoe again to turn on the induction cooker, and started cooking instant noodles.

Soon, the aroma of instant noodles spread from the pot.

Lu Ze, who had been hungry for a long time, didn't have time to think so much. All his thoughts were attracted by the instant noodles in Tang Wan's hand, and his stomach made a "gurgling" sound.

The sound was so loud that it immediately caught Lu Lin's attention.

Seeing that his uncle ignored him, Lu Ze lowered his head in grievance.

I feel a little guilty and a little sad.
