When Song Mengmeng and her friends arrived at Anlu Ancient Town, it was exactly the day before the scheduled program was to begin.
Because she was the only celebrity among the six guests invited by the production team who didn't have any other engagements during this period, her early arrival to scout out the town and learn about its situation was, in the production team's view, the best way to show respect for participating in the show.
Therefore, both the director and other crew members were very friendly when they first met her.

“My old home is over there.” While waiting for the milk tea to be made, Song Mengmeng pointed to a shop not far from where they were sitting and whispered to Hu Da, “That’s my grandparents’ house. There was no road connecting the town to the outside world before, so it was inconvenient to get in, and the town was so poor that it was hard to find anything worth seeing!”
Many young people have gone out to work, leaving behind mostly elderly people like grandparents and children who are unable to move to the city with their parents.
Now, there are very few of these elderly people left. Now that the road is open, the town has become a well-known tourist destination because of its long history. The young people who used to work outside have also seen the business opportunities and have naturally returned!
Opening a bed and breakfast, a restaurant, or selling unique handicrafts are all better than going out to work!
"Judging from the direction you're pointing, it seems your adoptive parents run a guesthouse!" Hu Da squinted and glanced in that direction. At that glance, it seemed like they didn't have any guests!
"Mm." Song Mengmeng nodded.
Before Song Mengmeng could say anything more, she saw the young lady from the milk tea shop carrying a tray and bringing out two cups of milk tea for them.
After delivering the milk tea, the young lady said "Enjoy your tea" and was about to turn and leave when Hu Da called out to her first: "Miss, don't rush off, I have something I want to ask you."
"What's wrong?" The young lady at the milk tea shop was a little surprised, but adhering to the highest principle of serving customers, she didn't leave. Instead, she stopped and looked at Hu Da.
Naturally, the main reason is that it's afternoon, and in such hot weather, not many people are out strolling around, so her milk tea shop is quite quiet right now.
"We're tourists from out of town, and we'd like to ask how that guesthouse over there is?" Hu Da smiled at the young woman, resting her chin on her hand, and gave her a seductive wink.

The hygiene conditions in their guesthouse were consistently poor. To save money, the bed sheets were often just changed once or twice, never actually washed!
