Chapter 473 Wealth

Children's games, really, are really just a few kinds.

Although she knew there was something wrong with the house from the moment it appeared there, and that these children were definitely not normal, Yao Anna still couldn't bring herself to refuse them when faced with these smiling children looking at them.

She slowly squatted down, facing the little one who was looking at her with a joyful expression, and patiently and sincerely asked, "Okay, what games do you want to play?!"

"Shall we play house?"

You guys be our parents! Our older siblings never quite pull it off; it's not fun!

The little boy didn't speak, but the little girl on the other sofa, who was holding a doll, spoke first. She giggled and made a request, looking at Song Mengmeng and Yao Anna with anticipation.

“But we are two girls, so we can only play the role of the mother. We're afraid we can't play the role of the father!” Yao Anna had already sensed that something was wrong with the children in front of her, but she still tried her best to remain calm and not panic.

What she said was true.

Although it's not yet clear what the purpose of these children is, one thing is certain: in the children's eyes, the roles of father and mother are completely different.

If they reluctantly agree now, what if the children later ask for things that Dad has to do that exceed their expectations?

Isn't this just digging a hole for them to jump into?!

"Are you just making excuses because you don't want to play with us?!" Upon hearing Yao Anna's explanation, the little girl sitting on the sofa immediately changed her expression. She stared at Yao Anna menacingly, as if she were a ferocious beast about to pounce and tear her neck apart: "Or are you actually lying to us, just taking advantage of us because we're children?!"

As the little girl was speaking, a car horn suddenly sounded outside the house.

Why would a car be coming to this place at this time?!

Yao Anna looked back at Song Mengmeng with a puzzled expression, but received a reassuring look from Song Mengmeng. The two stood together, and after a short while, they heard a familiar knocking on the door after a series of chaotic footsteps.

However, compared to the restraint with which the two women knocked on the door earlier, the guests who came this time seemed much more flustered and hurried.

"Oh, another guest?!" The little boy glanced at Song Mengmeng and Yao Anna, and without continuing the discussion about the game, he turned around and ran to open the door.

Deep in the jungle, in this house, there were only a few young children who had no ability to fight back, yet they had absolutely no sense of vigilance against danger.

No matter how you look at it, it's eerie.

"Let me take you to your room upstairs to rest!" Just as the little boy ran to open the door, the older girl who had been standing by the piano came over, looking at Song Mengmeng and Yao Anna with gentle and submissive eyes, just like a soft and gentle lamb.

Song Mengmeng thanked Yao Anna and then followed her around the sofa and towards the stairwell.

Just as they stepped onto the stairs, they heard a noisy and unrestrained laugh behind them.

Dutt and Martin were students at the same university.

When we have nothing to do on weekends, we'll get together and drive around to have some fun.

The city is surrounded by forests, and the Gauls's hunting regulations are not too strict. A few young men called on their favorite girls, and the group squeezed into two SUVs to go camping for the weekend.

The journey out was smooth, but the return trip back to the city turned into a major problem.

In this foggy weather, having had a few drinks, they drove off course and became increasingly panicked as they wound their way through the jungle, especially since there was no signal and they couldn't contact the outside world.

They had already given up hope, but unexpectedly, deep in the jungle, there was such a brightly lit villa!

A group of eight young people entered from outside the door and were immediately shocked by the furnishings in the room!

Hanging on the wall are priceless oil paintings by famous artists, and various porcelain pieces are scattered on the cabinet next to the wall. However, what is most eye-catching is not these, but the glittering gems and gold and silver that are casually piled up everywhere.

That's right, Yao Anna and her friends actually noticed all of this when they entered the room.

The dazzling rubies and sapphires, the sparkling diamonds, and the piles of gold and silver coins in the corners made this place not only a paradise for children, but also a paradise for all the greedy.

These students weren't exactly well-behaved kids at school to begin with; with a bit of a roguish air about them, they were immediately drawn to the gold and silver treasures as soon as they entered the room and couldn't take their eyes off them!

Upon further inquiry, it was discovered that the owners of the place were just a few children. Naturally, the two bolder boys in the lead became quite intrigued.

"Isn't this a bit inappropriate?!"

Alice was a little worried. She reached out and pulled aside a few of her companions who were huddled together discussing something, and whispered, "They may be children, but does that mean their parents will be back tomorrow?!"

Actually, Alice sensed something was wrong as she said this.

If they were normal parents, even if they had to go out without their children, they would definitely pack up their valuables and tell the children left at home not to open the door to strangers.
