Chapter 19 The First Birthday Ceremony (Part 2)

The little dumpling continued crawling forward with the flute in hand. When it saw a glittering gold ingot, its eyes widened in amazement.

She quickened her pace and crawled over, touching the golden ingot with her little hands, and then biting it with her little teeth.

Just when everyone thought the little princess was about to throw the gold ingot out...

But then they saw the little princess clinging to the gold ingot and refusing to let go, even trying to take it to His Majesty.

But the little dumpling couldn't lift it. The little dumpling sat there fiddling with the gold ingot for a while.

They removed everything else from the yellow cloth and put it on the ground, leaving only a gold ingot.

Then, cleverly, he placed the flute he was holding on the yellow cloth, aligning the diagonal corners of the cloth together.

A small hand, gripping the opposite corner of the yellow cloth, crawled towards Qin Jue.

She crawled to Qin Jue's feet and stopped, putting down the yellow cloth in her hands and tugging at Qin Jue's clothes with her little hands.

Qin Jue squatted down and picked up the little dumpling with his broad hands.

But the little dumpling was unhappy, pointing at the thing in the yellow cloth on the ground.

Qin Jue thought it was for him to see

"I have already seen it."

The little boy, seeing that his father and father-in-law were not telling the same thing, continued pointing at the yellow cloth.

"Ah...bite"

"I know Xiao Xi'er is wonderful. Don't worry, she's all yours; no one will take her from you."

Qin Jue thought the little dumpling was afraid that someone would take her things, so he praised her and reassured Xiao Xi'er.

Seeing that his father didn't understand, the little dumpling couldn't sit still any longer.

"Smack!"

Everyone stared wide-eyed, but then, as if remembering something, immediately lowered their heads.

The little dumpling, however, remained unmoved even after being slapped across Qin Jue's face.

She pointed at the ground, then turned her head and saw her father blush, after which she giggled.

Everyone wanted to disappear into the ground.

This little princess is doomed. No matter how favored she is, you can't pull the tiger's mane out of the tiger's head; that's playing with fire and getting burned!

The poor, adorable little princess, only one year old, is about to lose her life.

"Oh……"

Qin Jue chuckled.

Oh no, the tyrant is laughing. The little princess is doomed now.

This tyrant's laugh is even more terrifying than usual; oh my god, it could scare someone to death.

The ministers couldn't bear to watch, thinking, "I'd better turn away; I don't want to see blood." I'm a coward.

Many ministers closed their eyes or turned around.

Hahaha, I didn't expect I wouldn't even have to lift a finger. This wretched girl is about to be killed by His Majesty.

It really came without any effort.

Turning your birthday into your death anniversary is quite nice; may you die together with your vixen mother.

Consort Jian's face was contorted with rage. Bai Cai noticed this and tugged at Wei Linglong, who then composed herself.

"Your Majesty, the little princess is young and doesn't understand. If Your Majesty wishes to punish someone, then punish me instead."

Consort Li was also shocked that Qin Ruoxi had actually hit His Majesty, and she was extremely worried.

"Oh……"

"They definitely deserve to be punished; they're getting increasingly audacious."

"Zou Heng, drag him away and behead him!"

Zou Heng, whose name was called, walked up to His Majesty, but did not see His Majesty hand the little princess to him.

"Yes, Your Majesty. Your Majesty... if you intend to behead the little princess, then you must give her to me in return!"

"Otherwise, how can your subordinates take action?"

When Qin Jue heard Zou Heng say he was going to drag the little dumpling out and kill him, he almost chopped Zou Heng into a pulp.

"What did you say? Who are you going to kill?"

"Your Majesty, it wasn't you who said to execute the young prince..."

Qin Jue kicked Zou Heng in the knee, muttering "idiot."

"Commander Zou, His Majesty means, those people..."

Sanhezi came out and pointed it out to Zou Heng, who then saw it.

He limped over and subdued the person.

"Your Majesty, I am innocent! Your Majesty!"

It turned out that as soon as Qin Jue entered the Sanqing Hall, he noticed that this palace maid had been staring at Qin Ruoxi.

Qin Jue quietly went about his duties at the first birthday celebration, then placed the little one on the carpet and noticed several needles, which he discreetly put away.

"Take him away!" Sanhezi quickly ordered Zou Heng to take the man away.

Zou Heng was saddened that he hadn't been able to hold the little princess; such a cute little princess must be so soft and cuddly.

Zou Heng touched his leg and couldn't help but sigh, lamenting that his leg had suffered such an undeserved misfortune.

Zou Heng came from Qin Jue's secret guard camp. Zou Heng was placed in the open for protection, while Yu Ying remained in the shadows.

Meanwhile, the little princess didn't lose her head for hitting the tyrant; instead, the tyrant looked at the little dumpling with tenderness, showing no anger whatsoever.

This shocked everyone; no one expected that the tyrant would not be angry.

That little princess really slapped the tyrant across the face!

This made everyone realize the extent of Qin Ruoxi's favor with the emperor.

Everyone kept one thought firmly in mind: 'It's okay to offend any prince.'

'But we can't offend the little princess.'

His Majesty dotes on the little princess the most.

The little dumpling was completely oblivious to what had just happened, and kept pointing at the ground with its finger.

"Pfft..." (Stupid)

"Pinch...pinch...spit" (Daddy's stupid)

Qin Jue smiled helplessly when the little dumpling called him stupid. "You can't even speak clearly."

You little Xi'er are incredibly stupid, and you still have the nerve to call your father stupid?

Qin Jue could only put the little dumpling down to see what the little guy was up to.

The little dumpling landed on the carpet again, hugging the large gold ingot with its two tiny hands, but it was too heavy to lift.

He then pulled Qin Jue's hand to the gold ingot and pushed it into Qin Jue's hand.

Qin Jue followed the little dumpling's wishes and took the gold ingot back into his hand.

The little dumpling pressed Qin Jue's hand into Qin Jue's arms again.
