"No one can harm my daughter, and I will not allow anyone to mistreat her."
"If he does, then he's doomed."
As he spoke, Qin Jue released his grip on Tang Yu's neck, shaking his hand dismissively, and said to Zou Heng with a look of disgust.
Where is the stuff?
Zou Heng realized what was happening and quickly took out a handkerchief and handed it to Qin Jue.
Qin Jue took the handkerchief and began wiping her hands, not even glancing at Tang Yu, but giving Zou Heng a sidelong look.
"Take him away."
"yes"
After Zou Heng finished speaking to Qin Jue, he walked up to Tang Yu. Tang Yu's eyes widened in fear as he approached; she braced herself against the floor, trying to back away.
Zou Heng walked up to Tang Yu, saw her, bent down in disgust, grabbed her by the collar, and used his light-footed skill to leave.
After watching Zou Heng leave, Bai Zhong didn't hear Qin Jue give any instructions and then used his lightness skill to leave as well.
They returned to the shadows and stayed with Lu Yuan to protect Xiao Xi'er.
After Bai Zhong left, he looked at the spot where Tang Yu had been and looked at it with obvious disdain.
He walked straight out of the main hall, and when he reached the door, he saw Sanhezi standing there.
He threw the handkerchief in his hand directly at Sanhezi, speaking with a hint of anger.
"Take a bath, and have everything inside changed."
"ah?"
Sanhezi was stunned by Qin Jue's words. After a moment of instinctive confusion, he saw Qin Jue looking at him with a dangerous gaze and felt a chill run down his spine. Hearing Qin Jue's frightening words, he quickly said...
"Didn't you understand?"
"I understand, I understand."
After hearing Sanhezi's words, Qin Jue walked to a side room, but turned back halfway there.
"No need, just have someone change the contents inside."
After saying that, Qin Jue used his lightness skill to leave.
Left standing there dumbfounded, poor Sanhezi stood there for a long time before realizing that Qin Jue must have gone to the hot springs.
After figuring it out, Sanhezi immediately ordered his men to go in and replace everything in the Hall of Mental Cultivation.
After Sanhezi saw that the eunuchs and maids had tidied up the Hall of Mental Cultivation, he went in again to check the hall inside and out to make sure there were no problems. Then he went to the room where Qin Jue's clothes were kept and got him a set of clothes.
After finishing, Sanhezi carried the tray containing the clothes out of the Hall of Mental Cultivation.
"Godfather, where are you going?"
"Mind your own business and get back to what you're doing."
Sanhezi glared at the arithmetic, then stepped over the threshold and went out.
"Godfather?"
Sanhezi walked faster and faster as soon as he heard the shouts of counting.
Only after confirming that the sound of arithmetic could no longer be heard did they begin to slow their pace.
Sigh, I've had it so tough. That kid needs a good talking to; didn't he see I was holding His Majesty's clothes? And he still wants to keep talking to me.
Why is his eye for detail getting worse? This won't do; I need to have a serious talk with him when we get back.
I'd better hurry and send His Majesty's clothes over, or I'm afraid my backside will be in trouble!
And so, Miwako quickened her pace again and headed towards the hot spring.
Hot spring area
"His Majesty?"
"Come in"
Sanhezi stood outside the hot spring house, holding a tray containing Qin Jue's clothes, bending over and calling out to Qin Jue inside.
After hearing Qin Jue's voice inviting him in, he pushed open the door and went inside.
"His Majesty"
After entering, Sanhezi walked around the screen to the edge of the hot spring pool, picked up the clothes from the tray, and hung them on the hanger.
He then walked to a basin, washed his hands, dried them with a towel, and squatted down next to the hot spring pool behind Qin Jue.
"Your Majesty, shall I begin?"
"Um"
After hearing Qin Jue's agreement, Sanhezi placed his hands on Qin Jue's shoulders and began to massage them.
Half an hour later
Qin Jue left the house with the hot spring and went outside.
I was about to head towards the Imperial Study when I remembered that Xiao Xi'er should be finishing her painting by now.
Every time Xiao Xi'er came out of Zhang Shuhao's studio, she would take Qin Jingke to the Hall of Mental Cultivation.
The first thing they did upon entering the Hall of Mental Cultivation was to shout, "Daddy, I'm so hungry! Where's the food?"
Qin Jue chuckled as he thought about it. Sanhezi, watching from the side, was puzzled but didn't dare ask, so he silently followed behind Qin Jue.
"Putting the carriage in the Hall of Mental Cultivation"
"Prepare the carriage for the Hall of Mental Cultivation—"
After Qin Jue finished speaking, Sanhezi turned around and looked at the people behind him, repeating Qin Jue's words.
"Is dinner ready?"
"Your Majesty, this servant has made all the arrangements."
Sanhezi spoke respectfully, and Qin Jue nodded in satisfaction.
"Is there anything the princess likes to eat?"
"Your Majesty, rest assured, this servant understands."
Sanhezi spoke to Qin Jue in a very obsequious manner, and after finishing speaking, he took a step back.
Qin Jue quickened his pace, thinking of Xiao Xi'er's gluttonous appearance.
Less than a quarter of an hour after Qin Jue arrived at the Hall of Mental Cultivation, Xiao Xi'er came running over, pulling Qin Jingke by the hand.
"Daddy~, Daddy, I'm hungry~"
"Is the food ready yet?"
"I'm so hungry!"
Xiao Xi'er pulled Qin Jingke and ran towards Qin Jue, shouting that she was hungry as she ran. She also patted her tummy with her other hand to show that she was hungry.
Soon, Xiao Xi'er ran up to Qin Jue.
"Daddy~"
After running up to Qin Jue, Xiao Xi'er hugged one of his legs, looked up, and called out to him.
