He got up and walked to Baili Yao's side. Before he could say anything, he hugged Baili Yao tightly.
"What... are you doing here?"
"I came here to find you"
Zou Heng held Baili Yao for a moment, then spoke and released her.
"Isn't today your wedding day?"
"I ran away from my wedding."
Zou Heng was stunned when he heard Baili Yao's words. After a long while, he finally spoke, "You... ran away from your wedding?"
"Yes"
"Didn't you marry him because you liked him?"
"no"
"So you don't like him?"
"dislike"
After going back and forth between the three questions and the three answers, Zou Heng felt much more relaxed in his heart.
"and you?"
"I didn't know who else to look for, so I came to you."
You'll take me in, won't you?
"Um"
Zou Heng turned his head away from Baili Yao and nodded.
What are you doing?
Zou Heng watched as the head drew ever closer to his chest, then used his hand to push it away.
Suddenly, Baili Yao raised her head and stared into Zou Heng's eyes.
Have you been drinking?
"No"
Zou Heng spoke somewhat guiltily, while Baili Yao walked over to the jar that had been thrown at her when she entered, and smelled it.
"Wine, this is the wine jar! You've been drinking!!!"
"No"
Zou Heng insisted that he hadn't been drinking, then turned and walked away from Baili Yao.
"I...I'll find you a place to stay."
"No, I want to live in your yard."
Baili Yao strolled around Zou Heng's courtyard, looked around, and then walked up to Zou Heng and said...
"I'm staying here."
