Qin Jue, inside the Hall of Mental Cultivation, didn't see Xiao Xi'er, but he did hear her voice.
Qin Jue pretended not to hear and continued playing Go with Yu Ying.
A moment later, Xiao Xi'er ran in.

Qin Jue ignored Yu Ying, and after swatting away Yu Ying's outstretched hand, he reached out and pulled Xiao Xi'er into his arms.
"Daddy~"

"Look at you, you're all filthy, like a tabby cat, so dirty!"
Qin Jue complained, but his hands showed no disgust, and he even wiped the dust off Xiao Xi'er's mouth and face.
