Su Li had dinner with Quan Ye, and after filling her own stomach, she couldn't help but let out a burp.
"Why do I feel like Old Tang was looking at you strangely tonight?"
Quan Ye didn't take it seriously, and teased her by pinching her chin, "What, now you're even jealous if Old Tang looks at me a few more times?"
She slapped his hand away impatiently, "I just feel it, don't you think so?"
“Song Qinze has been getting very close to Old Tang lately. Who knows if he’s been saying bad things about me to Old Tang.”
"Mr. Song wouldn't be such a petty person, would he?"
"What, you still believe him even now?"
Seeing that he was about to argue with Song Qinze again, Su Li quickly made him a bowl of soup, "Eat more, you've lost weight lately."
"Su Li, now you know how to change the subject."
"Likewise."
Ye Shi and Fu Zelian were also eating nearby.
Xiao Zhe sat there with a stern face, refusing to eat, no matter who offered him food.
Fu Zelian lost his patience, slammed down his chopsticks, and said sternly, "If you don't want to eat, go home. Don't make a fuss about coming over. Who's going to indulge you?"
Xiao Zhe's eyes were red; she wanted to cry but didn't dare.
Ye Shi said, "He only ate a hamburger at noon and can't eat any more food, you don't need to be so harsh."
Fu Zelian looked at her and said, "That's because you spoil him too much and always feed him this junk food. Now he won't eat meals at all."
"Daddy's naughty!" Xiao Zhe threw himself into Ye Shi's arms, feeling extremely wronged.
Ye Shi felt sorry for him, but the father and son had similar tempers, and she couldn't say anything to either of them.
Then he received a phone call, which he answered.
Ye Shi heard a woman's voice on the phone.
I don't know what they said, but after hanging up the phone, Fu Zelian told her, "I have something to do, so I'll leave first. I'll have the driver take you back later."
He left in a hurry, without finishing his meal.
Ye Shi held her son quietly, her heart filled with mixed emotions.
Meng Sangsang and Qin Xuan came in, bickering outside. Seeing that she looked upset, they came over and asked, "What's wrong? Where's your man?"
Ye Shi shook her head. "He's busy."
"This is outrageous! How could you leave your wife and children here and just walk away? That's how you men are; you don't know how to cherish what you have." Meng Sangsang complained to Qin Xuan.
Qin Xuan: "Fine, I'm just lying here and getting shot again."
Su Li went to the restroom, and when she came out to wash her hands, she saw a woman standing next to her touching up her makeup.
She glanced at it casually, but was immediately drawn to the other person's earrings.
Su Li couldn't believe it. After taking a few more glances, she was certain that it was the earring she had lost!
So almost immediately she grabbed the woman and asked, "Where did you get those earrings?"
"Are you out of your mind?" The woman was startled, pushed her hand away, and turned to leave.
Su Li chased after her and stopped her, "Tell me where you got these earrings."
The woman wore only one earring because her hair was down on the other side, and she was dressed elegantly and appropriately.
"This was a gift from my boyfriend. What's it to you?"
"This earring is mine, can I have it back?"
Although she didn't know why the earring was on someone else, she was certain that it was the one she had lost.
The woman cursed, "Are you out of your mind? These are my earrings, what's it to you? If you don't move aside, I'll call for help."
"This is mine, give it back to me first."
"Where's security? I need to call security! There's a madman here!"
The two women got into a fight, and the others were quickly drawn over.
