Su Li had a sudden inspiration and stepped forward to ask, "Are you alright?"
The pregnant woman shook her head, a pale look appearing on her face.
Su Li helped her up and looked at the person, saying, "Her stomach hurts, let's take her to the hospital first."

Xu Ming rushed in and said, "Master Quan, Secretary Su is off tonight and didn't come over."
He rubbed his brows and eyes lightly, his handsome face showing slight fatigue. "I almost forgot, we set her free tonight."
"The matter you asked me to investigate has been resolved. The earring that was auctioned tonight was bought by Secretary Su."
Quan Ye looked up, his deep black eyes cold and stern. "Where did she get so much money?"
"I heard that he used a lot of real estate as collateral."
She's incredibly audacious; she actually dared to mortgage the house he gave her.
“Mr. Quan, you could have just bought that earring today and given it to Secretary Su. Why did Secretary Su go through all this trouble and spend so much money herself?”

Quan Ye picked up his phone from the table and glanced at it. The only messages on the phone were from Song Wan.
Su Li remained quiet and didn't contact him all night.
Thinking it over, he slammed his phone back onto the table. "There's another video conference tonight. Send me a notification. The meeting starts in five minutes."
Xu Ming was surprised. "Mr. Quan, you've been in a meeting for two hours straight. You should go home and rest early."

Master Quan's words never change, Xu Ming nodded and went to prepare.
Quan Ye stared at the phone on the table, his brows furrowed in thought.

The continuous knocking shattered the dream of a family of four.
"Coming, coming! Who is it so late? Why are you banging on the door?"
Zhou Kai, still in his pajamas, came to open the door. When he saw who it was, he looked annoyed. "What are you doing here so late? You woke up your younger brother and sister."
Su Li pushed open the door and strode in. "I'll be staying here tonight."
