Chapter 519 Master Quan Says Tang Yao is a Single Dog

The next morning, Quan Ye and Tang Yao arrived at their destination to wait for the others.

They parked their car in a secluded spot behind a large tree, and had someone use binoculars to keep an eye on the other side.

Quan Ye leaned back in his chair, lit a cigarette in his left hand, and held a dictionary in his other hand.

Tang Yao walked over, snatched his dictionary, and said, "You brought us here at the crack of dawn. What are we waiting here for?"

"Didn't I tell you? They'll be making their deal here." Quan Ye turned to the side, too lazy to pay him any attention.

Tang Yao took off his sunglasses and looked around. Occasionally, he could hear birds chirping in the trees and the howling of hungry wolves from the depths.

If it were nighttime, they would all be prey for wolves.

“How could the people of Lai be so stupid as to choose a place like this for trading, where it takes several hours to drive up the mountain?”

Seeing that Quan Ye didn't speak, Tang Yao snatched his dictionary again, saying, "What's so interesting about this broken dictionary? I've been looking at it ever since I came out."

"I'm choosing a name for my daughter, what do you know, you single dog?"

Quan Ye finished speaking and pulled the dictionary back.

Tang Yao was completely taken aback by the words "single dog".

"Do you look down on single people? You used to be single too. Let's not make fun of each other."

“But I have a wife and kids now, while you have nothing.”

Tang Yao was furious and really wanted to punch him in the face.

He's usually such a calm person, but he gets really angry when he's around Quan Ye.

Quan Ye flipped through a few pages of the dictionary, glanced at him, and said, "Alright, go stand over there. You won't have come here for nothing today."

Tang Yao didn't want to waste any more time arguing with him, so he turned around and got into another car.

The assistant came over and said, "Mr. Tang, are you sure Mr. Quan is mentally sound? We've been waiting here for two hours and haven't seen a single person."

“I also suspect he has mental problems, after all, he has amnesia.”

Tang Yao wouldn't have come this way if it weren't for Su Li's sake.

Zhang Quan, who was guarding the front, overheard their conversation and immediately told Quan Ye, "Master Quan, they're harassing you from behind. Should I go and beat them up?"

Quan Ye: "I don't dare to hit him. Tang Yao is my wife's family. If you want to hit him, that's your business and has nothing to do with me."

Zhang Quan was embarrassed: "If you don't dare to fight, how can I?"

About an hour later, Tang Yao's patience was almost worn out.

He walked over and knocked on Quan Ye's car window. "You wait here by yourself. I'm leaving now."

Quan Ye remained silent, tacitly agreeing to his departure.

Just as Tang Yao and his men were getting into the car to leave, Zhang Quan returned with his men to report urgently, "They're here! They're transporting things up the mountain."

"They've really come!"

Tang Yao turned to look at Quan Ye's car, his eyes filled with shock.

Quan Ye rolled down the car window and said slowly, "Do you think Si Ye would be so stupid as to follow the normal route? This road is rarely traveled and was his first target, so my guess was right. If you don't want to be discovered, proceed as planned."

Now Tang Yao had no more doubts about what he said.

Soon, a truck slowly drove up, followed by several SUVs.

Siye leaned against the passenger seat and smoked. After the car stopped, he stubbed out his cigarette and got out.

"Brothers, let's get to work and move these things down."

They unloaded box after box from the truck.

Tang Yao, hiding in the shadows, looked through binoculars. "I can smell the gunpowder here. These guys are really fearless."
