"She's just a friend's younger sister, coming over for a visit," Siye said casually.
Song Wan: "Really? I thought there was something good going on. Laibu is currently lacking a mistress."
Si Ye glared at her: "Have you been too idle lately?"
Song Wan gave a soft snort and didn't dare to say anything more.
The others gradually stood up and toasted Siye.
Tang Nuan didn't drink alcohol and ate her meal quietly, acting like she was invisible.
"Are you the blind man Siye keeps by his side?"
When she came out of the restroom, she was blocked in the hallway by a woman.
Tang Nuan didn't speak, but the woman blocked her way from both sides, arrogantly saying, "I order you to stay away from Siye. You blind bastard, do you even deserve to be by his side? He wouldn't be interested in a flawed woman like you. You must have seduced him."
"Say whatever you want."
When the woman saw that she was ignoring her, she pulled her back and said, "I heard from the people here that Siye has been spoiling you for a while. You vixen, my father said that I should marry Siye. You don't deserve to stay here. Get out of here right now."
Tang Nuan was pushed away, and her back hit the wall, causing a sharp pain.
"What's all the noise about?"
Siye suddenly appeared, a cigarette dangling from his lips.
The woman turned and ran to the man's side, saying sweetly, "I was in the restroom just now, and she bumped into me. She didn't even apologize. I'm angry."
"Why get angry? It will make you age faster."
"Ugh, don't call people old."
Siye glanced at Tang Nuan and said, "What are you still standing there for? Go back to your room after you've eaten."
Tang Nuan pursed her lips, turned around, and slowly walked away.
"Ah Ye, why are you keeping this blind guy around? Just give him to the guys down there, they're short of women anyway."
"Go back and drink, don't talk about such a downer."
"Okay, okay."
Tang Nuan walked slowly and overheard their conversation clearly, which made her feel even more distressed.
She didn't want to stay here for a second longer, but escaping seemed a long way off, and she didn't know what to do.
In the middle of the night, when she was half asleep, the door was suddenly pushed open. She was not very sleepy to begin with, so she immediately sat up and took out the fruit knife that she had hidden under her pillow.
"who!"
She remained vigilant at all times in such a dangerous place as the border.
"It's me."
Hearing the man's familiar voice, she breathed a sigh of relief, but did not put down the knife in her hand.
What brings you here at this hour?
"Of course I came to sleep with you."
Siye took off his coat and removed his shoes by her bedside.
"Get out of here! Don't come near here!"
Tang Nuan said angrily, gripping the knife tightly in her hand.
He paused slightly as he took off his shoes, then turned to stare at her menacingly. "What did you say?"
She licked her lips, clearly terrified.
"You've been spending the night with other women, so don't come here again."
"You think I'm dirty?"
She didn't dare answer, but her actions made it very clear.
She pulled the blanket over herself, shivering, and said, "Get out, and don't come here again."
"This is my territory, I decide where I go."
Siye snatched the knife from her and tackled her onto the bed, but this provoked her fierce resistance.
"open!"
During the struggle, she slashed Siye's palm with a knife.
Siye cried out in pain and stepped back from her bedside.
Tang Nuan said in a panic, "Don't touch me, stay away from me."
"Damn it." He looked at the long scratch on his palm, from which blood gushed out.
He left the room, and silence returned.
The knife slipped from Tang Nuan's hand, and she collapsed, exhausted.
"Boss, why did you put up with her? She even hurt you." In the lobby, his subordinates were bandaging his wounds.
Siye said dismissively, "She only dared to scratch me a little. She probably thinks I slept with another woman and is just arguing with me."
