Chapter 571 No matter where you hide, you can be found

Feeling irritable, Meng Sangsang joined an international tour group for a trip.

Everyone else went up the mountain to play today, but she didn't go because she wasn't feeling well and stayed at the hotel to rest.

High-end tour groups all have single rooms, and they are all in five-star hotels with decent environments.

She was playing games against the headboard, her hands were almost numb, but she still hadn't won a single game, and she was so angry that she wanted to throw her phone away.

"I'm so unlucky even when playing a game, can't I win a single round?!"

Another losing game.

Meng Sangsang, not in the mood, tossed aside her phone and lay down to sleep.

The food the waiter brought was placed on the table, and it had mostly gone cold.

"Sangsang, where did you go to play? Have you eaten?" Her mother called and asked with concern.

Meng Sangsang rolled over, annoyed, and said, "I've eaten, Mom, you don't need to worry about me. Take care of yourself first."

"Silly girl, how can I not worry about you? You're pregnant now and you're all alone out there. I'm worried about you. Why don't you tell me where you are and I'll come and keep you company?"

"Mom, it was Qin Xuan who sent you to call and ask, right? Humph, I knew it."

Mencius' mother was silent for a moment, then said, "Oh dear, stop fooling around. You're pregnant and still running around outside. Tell your mother where you are right now."

"The doctor said my condition is basically stable now, and there's nothing serious, so you can rest assured."

Meng Sangsang hung up the phone, got up, changed her clothes, and prepared to go out for something to eat.

The hotel food was too bland, and she had no appetite at all.

Although this place is not as developed as Haicheng, it is still a seaside city with a thriving commercial sector, and it is very pleasant to come out and enjoy the sea breeze at night.

Just past a small alley outside the hotel lies a food street, brimming with the lively atmosphere and bustling noise of street food.

Meng Sangsang ate a bowl of wontons, then bought a candied hawthorn and strolled around the snack street.

"Wow, this smells so good! What is it?"

She was drawn to a stall selling pancakes ahead.

"Indian roti, beautiful lady, would you like to try some?" the owner greeted her warmly.

Meng Sangsang looked at the food and wanted to eat, but when she touched her stomach, she felt a little full.

"Let's eat here again tomorrow."

She turned around and walked back, buying some local trinkets along the way, before returning to her hotel.

"Ms. Meng, you're back."

The receptionist looked up at her and asked enthusiastically.

"Okay." Meng Sangsang casually handed them a few bags of food. "It's not easy for you to be on duty so late at night. I bought these on the way, they're still warm. You should try some."

"Okay." The two receptionists looked at each other, then one of them smiled at her and said, "Ms. Meng, are you here alone on this tour?"

Meng Sangsang wanted to say yes, but then she remembered that she was carrying another child.

"two."

"Oh, I see."

Meng Sangsang felt that the way they were looking at her tonight was a little strange, but she couldn't quite put her finger on why.

She walked to the elevator and went upstairs, only to find a figure standing outside her hotel room door, though she couldn't make out the exact figure.

"May I ask who you are?"

The other person turned around, their dark eyes shooting straight at her.

Meng Sangsang was startled and instinctively turned to run away, but the man caught up with her in a few strides and grabbed her arm.

"Where else do you want to run off to?"

She shouted angrily, "You bastard, how did you find your way here?"

"No matter where you run, I will find you. Do you think you can escape?"
