Chapter 394 Father and Daughter Argument

"Why is he here!"

Meng Sangsang felt extremely embarrassed and pulled a pillow from the side to cover her face.

Su Li said, "I asked him to come over. I have to go back and get busy later, so I can't stay here with you. You don't want your family to come and keep you company."

"Then you can't call this guy over, I don't want to see him."

Qin Xuan: "You have to see this whether you want to or not. You were so fierce in the fight just now, why are you chickening out now?"

Meng Sangsang said angrily, "I didn't back down!"

Qin Xuan touched her arm, and she screamed in pain.

"You got yourself injured in a fight; your skills aren't up to par."

"None of your business."

Su Li was relieved to see how much fun the two of them were having bickering; the more they bickered, the better their relationship became.

After Meng Sangsang finished arguing with Qin Xuan, she found that Su Li was no longer in the ward.

She glared at Qin Xuan, annoyed. "It's all your fault. I didn't even know when A-Li left."

“She asked me to come and keep you company, but of course she has to go back and get busy, so I’m the only one who has time to stay here with you.”

Qin Xuan was about to sit down on the chair by the bed when she deliberately pulled him, almost causing him to fall flat on his backside onto the floor.

"Want to murder her husband?"

"You deserve it, you husband my foot!"

Meng Sangsang rolled over and covered her head with the blanket, not wanting to talk to him.

"Hey, why did you get into a conflict with Song Wan today? Was it because of your father?"

"Shut up!"

"Fine, I'll shut up."

Qin Xuan sat down in the chair and, out of boredom, picked up a magazine from the table to read.

He must have so much free time; he neglects his work at the company to come here and keep her company.

Forget it, I won't argue with the little girl.

Time passed by, and Qin Xuan leaned back in his chair, almost falling asleep.

"Sang Sang?"

The noise at the door woke Qin Xuan from his drowsiness.

He opened his eyes and saw that Meng's father and mother had come over together, carrying a thermos.

"Uncle and Aunt?"

Qin Xuan's drowsiness vanished, and he quickly got up from his chair.

Meng's mother looked at him gently and said, "Xiao Qin, you're here too. Don't be nervous. We heard that Sang Sang got into a fight and ended up in the hospital, so we came to check on her."

Meng's father also said, "Xiao Qin, it's hard on you to stay here with this girl. If I hadn't heard from a friend that Sangsang had been in a fight, I wouldn't have known she was in the hospital."

A friend? Song Wan's mother, perhaps?

Qin Xuan smiled and moved aside, "Uncle and Auntie, come sit down, Sangsang is asleep."

As they were talking, the person on the bed turned over.

Meng Sangsang pulled back the covers and looked at them, annoyed at being woken up. "You all woke me up."

Mencius' mother: "Sweetie, sleep a little longer. Daddy and Mommy will stay here with you."

Meng's father couldn't help but scold, "Look at you, you're not acting like a girl at all. It was one thing for you to play around with your classmates when you were little, but how come you're openly fighting with people in a restaurant now that you're all grown up? Is this how your mother and I raised you? This is really outrageous."

Mencius' mother couldn't stand it anymore and tugged at her husband's arm, "Didn't I tell you I wouldn't scold people when you're here? Look at you, you've fallen back into your old ways again."

"If I don't say anything to her, she'll become completely unruly. She doesn't want the arranged marriage and even got into a fight. If word gets out, where will I put my face?"

Meng Sangsang snorted coldly and retorted directly, "Hmph, if you cared about your reputation, you wouldn't have done those shameful things."

Meng's father was stunned for a moment, and then he was really angry.

"What did you say? I'm your father!"

“You have never been worthy of being my father since you started accusing me without even knowing the facts.”
