Quan Ye was busy until midnight, finishing up most of his work.
Song Wan handed her a glass of warm milk, saying thoughtfully, "You've been busy all night, drinking some milk will help you sleep."
Quan Ye had no intention of drinking, but she eagerly offered it to her lips.
"Hurry up and drink it. I'll go back after you finish. It's getting late."
Hearing that she was leaving, he took the cup, took a small sip, and said, "Then I'll have the driver take you home first."
"No need, my driver is on his way."
Song Wan was overjoyed to see him drink the milk.
"Mr. Quan, the marketing director wants to see you."

Guessing that it was almost time, she hurriedly came out of the reception room and said, "Has Mr. Quan finished his business? It's time to go back."
There was only one person sitting in the secretary's seat. Upon hearing this, she replied, "Ms. Song, Mr. Quan has already left."
"They've left?"
“You were resting in the meeting room, and he didn’t see you, so he thought you had left.”
Song Wan looked anxious and quickly turned around to chase after him.
How could he leave now? She had waited so long tonight, was she going to let it all go to waste?
When Song Wan went downstairs, Quan Ye was nowhere to be seen. She then tried calling him, but the call kept going unanswered.
"Damn it, all that work for nothing!"
On the way back, Quan Ye leaned back in the back seat, closed his eyes to rest, his usually cold and stern face showing signs of fatigue.
Xu Ming turned his head and asked, "Are you going back to Taoyuan now, or are you going to stay at a hotel?"
Quan Ye didn't respond. He ripped off his tie and felt that the car was stuffy and unbearably hot.
"Turn on the air conditioner."
"Master Quan, it's open." Xu Ming felt a bit cold, but he still felt hot.
He glanced at the fleeting night view outside and said coldly, "Call and ask where Su Li is now."
Xu Ming made a call, but no one answered.
"Hello, the number you dialed is not being answered..."
As Quan Ye listened to the cold female voice, he became increasingly irritable, feeling unbearably hot from head to toe.
Xu Ming suggested, "What's wrong with you? Do you have a cold? Why don't you go to the hospital to get it checked out?"
"No need, let's go to the Song family."
Going to the Song family so late at night, they must be looking for Miss Su.
Xu Ming didn't dare ask any more questions, started the car and drove away.

Just then, the phone rang again, its ringing tone sounding like a death knell.
She looked around and found a secluded spot to answer the phone, "Hello?"
"Su Li, you have some nerve, daring to ignore my calls."
"I was busy just now."
"It's so late, don't tell me you're busy playing."
"Mr. Quan, I have my own things to do even when I'm not by your side. Do you really need to know everything?"
"Come here now."
No sooner had she finished speaking than a blinding headlight shone in her direction.
Su Li raised her hand to block it, and upon closer inspection, she recognized the license plate number.
