"Su Li, I just don't want you to leave here, I don't mean to control you."
"You won't let me leave, you lied to me about being sick, you made me stay here for treatment, you lied to me about the lack of signal here, Mr. Song, are you trapping me here for your sister?"
"I did all this just for myself."
"That's all for now, I'm leaving."
Su Li turned to leave the ward, but was stopped by two bodyguards.
She sneered and said with her back to him, "President Song, I thought you and Song Wan were different, but now it seems you're no different from her."
"Wan'er wanted to harm you, but I didn't mean to harm you, I just..."
Song Qinze turned around and put his hand on her shoulder. When they were face to face, some words were stuck in his throat and he couldn't say them.
Su Li's gaze was so cold it couldn't be colder, and this deeply agitated him.
"If you don't want to harm me, let me leave here."
"No, I won't let you go."
Song Qinze released her hand and turned his back to the side.
The bodyguard stepped forward, grabbed her shoulders, and led her away.
Su Li looked at him in confusion and said sharply, "Song Qinze, what exactly do you want to do!"
A cart rushed down the corridor, forcing the bodyguard to release her.
"Sister, let's go!"
Su Chen emerged from behind the cart, grabbed Su Li, and they ran.
Watching their figures disappear around the corner, Song Qinze coldly ordered, "Bring them back, but don't harm them in the slightest."
"yes."
The bodyguard took out a walkie-talkie and notified everyone to give chase.
A cold, hard expression appeared on his refined, handsome face, and his whole being was enveloped in a chill.
"Su Li, I will not let you leave, absolutely not."
The siblings were surrounded by bodyguards and could only escape through the stairwell.
"Sis, there are too many of them. The two of us together will be too conspicuous. I'll distract them, you run first."
"No, we'll run together. How can I let you lure them away by yourself?"
Su Li held his small hand tightly.
Su Chen said earnestly, "Sister, believe me, I have a way to escape, but it's too much trouble for me to take you with me. Please don't be a burden to me."
Su Li was speechless. How did she become a burden?
"You run fast, I'll find a chance to meet up with you, bye-bye."
Su Chen broke free from her hand and ran towards the crowd.
"That brat."
She had no choice but to run in the opposite direction.
The bodyguards have sealed off all the hospital exits and are searching for the siblings.
"Hey guys!" Su Chen's figure suddenly appeared on the second floor.
The bodyguards looked up at him.
He leaned leisurely against the fence, his smile innocent and naive. "Are you looking for us? I've hidden my sister. If you're so capable, come and catch me. My sister is a girl, and she's timid. Don't scare her."
The bodyguards exchanged a glance. "Grab him!"
Su Chen quickly turned and ran, dodging and hiding.
In the ward, Song Qinze stood by the window with his eyes closed, playing with a string of Buddhist prayer beads in his hand, quietly waiting for news.
The assistant came in and said, "Mr. Song, it was the doctor who gave it away, and that's how Miss Su found out about all this."
He opened his eyes, his gaze sharp. "There's no use saying all this now. Bring her back to me as soon as possible. I'll explain things to her and make sure she doesn't run away again."
"Mr. Song, Miss Su must have misunderstood you. You didn't mean to deceive her."
"Give the order to take her back safely, and make sure she is not hurt."
