Chapter 632 No News is Good News

After Xue Ni and the others finished lunch, they came out of the dining hall and saw Alan leading a few people past them in a menacing manner.

Everyone else quickly moved aside, afraid of offending her.

Why would she go to do something so angry?

Xue Ni was careful and quietly followed them when no one was paying attention.

Because she is considered "ugly," she is generally disliked here, and no one wants to get close to her. This saves her trouble and allows her to move around freely and easily.

After walking around a long corridor, we arrived at a courtyard.

This place is too big. Xue Ni has never been to this yard before, but she can see that it is full of flowers and plants, which makes it different from other yards.

Could this be Tang Nuan's residence?

"I need to go in, move aside."

Alan walked up to his men guarding the door and gave them orders.

“Miss Alan, I’m sorry, I can’t let you in. The boss gave instructions before he left that no one is allowed to approach Miss Tang.”

"Ha, she's just a blind woman, but he's treating her like a treasure, hiding her away and not letting anyone near her. He might as well find an iron cage and lock her up."

"Miss Alan, you should go back now."

"I'm going in today anyway, let's see what you can do to me."

Alan tried to force her way in, but was stopped by one of her men who whispered a few words in her ear.

"Young Miss, you can't barge in now. Have you forgotten what Si Ye warned you about after he whipped Tang Nuan last time?"

Upon hearing this, Alan paused, his brows furrowing slightly.

Siye warned her that if she dared to approach Tang Nuan again and cause her any harm, she would be sent back immediately and never be allowed to set foot in Laibu again.

He doesn't like people going against his wishes, and if she tries to force her way in, he'll dislike her even more.

"If we want to go in, we can do it secretly. It's not good if we force our way in and it gets back to everyone."

Alan hesitated, knowing she had to think long-term and not cut off her future for a moment of pleasure.

"Fine, if we don't want to go in, then we don't."

She waved her hand, turned around, and left with her entourage.

After they left, Xue Ni slowly emerged from behind the pillar.

"The gate is so tight that not even a mosquito can fly in. It seems that Siye is really afraid that Tang Nuan will run away."

She needs to plan this carefully if she wants to get in.

In a two-story wooden house somewhere on the border, Qin Xuan paced anxiously back and forth in the living room.

Tang Yao sat in a chair cracking sunflower seeds and joked, "Even if you walked a few hundred more steps, you still wouldn't have been able to rescue the person. Take a break."

"You're the most carefree person. My older cousin is inside. If anything happens to her, our elders will definitely kill me."

“Nuan Nuan is also my family. A Li and A Ye’s child is still there. Who wouldn’t be anxious and worried? But there’s no use being anxious and worried now. We can only wait.”

"Why."

Qin Xuan sighed and sat down opposite him, wanting to drink tea, but the teacup was already empty.

Tang Yao poured him tea and comforted him, "Sometimes no news is good news. Let's wait a little longer."

"That's all we can do."

Tang Yao glanced around to make sure no one was watching, then shifted his position closer to Qin Xuan and nudged his arm gently with his elbow.

"What?" Qin Xuan asked impatiently.

Does your cousin have a boyfriend?

"What, you've taken a fancy to her? I advise you not to." Qin Xuan crossed his arms and moved aside, not letting him get close.

"I'm not interested in her, but I'd like to know why you said no?"

"She's not someone an ordinary man should mess with. I advise you to cherish your life."

What do you mean?
