Wu Meng looked at the urine dripping from his crotch onto the ground, and he almost wanted to find a crack in the ground to crawl into.
A tall and strong man was humiliated by a pee. He felt that he was severely humiliated and even the little dignity he had left as a man was taken away.
He secretly swore that if he could get out of here alive, he would make the person who hurt him suffer terribly.
Just when he was feeling hateful, angry and embarrassed, he heard the sound of a door opening, followed by the sound of chaotic footsteps.
Mr. Bao appeared in front of Wu Meng with a few of his men.
The two men behind him rushed to the two sleeping men and woke them up.
At first, the two were reluctant to wake up from their sleep. They complained and shook off the hands that came to slap them.
"Go away, don't bother me, it's a headache."
The thugs leaned over, got close to the two men's ears, and shouted, "Master Bao is here!"
"Master Bao, Master Bao is here. Where? Where?"
The two men woke up in panic. The man sleeping on the door panel was so frightened that he rolled off the door panel and crawled to his feet. The two men ran to Mr. Bao in fear, bowing their heads and not daring to breathe.
"You guys are living a carefree life, aren't you? Erguotou, roast meat, and you're still sleeping like pigs at noon. I think I should call you two masters instead!"
Mr. Bao's tone was gentle, without a hint of arrogance. But the two men seemed frightened, their legs trembling.
"Master Bao, we know we were wrong and we won't do it again. Please be magnanimous and forgive us this time."
Their legs went weak and they fell to their knees, kowtowed and begged for mercy.
Mr. Bao didn't say anything. He turned and walked to Wu Meng and asked someone to bring a chair over. He had a leisurely expression on his face. He sat on the chair with his legs crossed and just stared at Wu Meng.
"Brother, no, I should call you Young Master Wu. Did you sleep well last night?"
Mr. Bao turned the jade ring on his left thumb and asked Wu Meng slowly.
Wu Meng glared at Mr. Bao angrily, his eyes bloodshot from the rage in his heart.
"I have no grudge against you. Who on earth wanted you to deal with me? Is it that fox in my family who's afraid I'll get in the way of her plotting to seize our family property, so she wants to get rid of me as soon as possible?"
"As expected of the Crown Prince, you speak so elegantly. I, a rough man, am not used to hearing such refined words. As for me, I am just passing on a message to you. Stay away from the eldest daughter of the Qingshang Group. I promise that I will not bother you again."
Mr. Bao had said he would never tell Mr. Shang about this, so wouldn't he be admitting his guilt by saying this? Even a fool would connect this to Qing Ke, and then the truth would be revealed, and sooner or later it would be traced back to Mr. Shang.
"Qingshang Group?"
A look of surprise appeared on Wu Meng's haggard and tired face. He couldn't believe that this matter was related to Qing Ke.
Could it be Coco? No, absolutely not. Although I've only known Coco for a short time, I can tell she's a straightforward person. Besides, how could a delicate young lady like her get involved with these people? They must be afraid of getting involved with them, so they're looking for an excuse to put me off. Yes, that must be it.
Wu Meng was very confused at the moment, and he denied his own thoughts over and over again in his mind.
Mr. Bao stood up from his chair and walked to Wu Meng's side, closing the distance between him and Wu Meng, so close that Wu Meng could even feel the hot air coming out of his nostrils.
"Yes, if you dare to get close to the young lady again, I will rip your tendons or even castrate you. You can ask around about my reputation as Master Bao. There's nothing I can't do, only what I can't think of."
Mr. Bao pinched Wu Meng's chin tightly with his hands and roared ferociously.
Wu Meng only felt a sharp pain in his jaw, and he couldn't open his mouth to speak.
As if he had smelled the stench of horse fleas and urine on Wu Meng, Master Bao deliberately glanced at his wet crotch, then at the scars on Wu Meng's body. His expression suddenly changed, and he waved for the person still kneeling on the ground to come over.
The two thugs kneeling on the ground quickly got up and ran to Master Bao tremblingly.
Mr. Bao took out a handkerchief and rubbed his palms repeatedly. It was probably the blood stains on Wu Meng's face that got on his hands.
"Have you ever beaten him?"
The two thugs hunched their backs and shook their heads.
"No? Are you trying to tell me that the injuries on his body were caused by flying up there himself?"
Mr. Bao's eyes were wide open and his tone sounded like he wanted to eat someone.
"This—this—Master Bao, this really wasn't us who did it, it was—it was—"
The henchmen were obviously still a little wary of Brother Jiu. They couldn't afford to offend anyone on either side, and they didn't know what to do.
"What nonsense are you talking about? Is there anyone more frightening to you than Master Bao? Speak."
Master Bao kicked the henchman who had just spoken and knocked him upside down.
Another henchman, who was standing there trembling with fear, blurted out quickly, "It's Brother Nine, Master Bao, it's Brother Nine."
"Laojiu? This troublemaker, more trouble than success. Someone, go get Master Liu and have him take a look at his injuries."
A thug stepped forward and responded, then walked out of the basement.
A gangster boss who lived on the edge of a knife and was afraid that Wu Meng would lose his life. Wu Meng knew very well that this was definitely not because Mr. Bao was afraid of killing someone, but because his employer asked him to keep him alive.
