Chapter 205: Both Falling Sick

Fu Jun's wife and Wu Ju carried Zhang Xiaoqin to the health center.

On the way, I happened to meet Fu Jun who was pushing his bicycle back.

Fu Jun saw that it was Zhang Xiaoqin, and what was even more frustrating was that his wife was there too.

"What's going on?" Fu Jun asked his wife, but his eyes were on Zhang Xiaoqin.

"Xiaoqin fainted, and we rushed her to the health center."

"Is that so? Wife, come help me push the bike and I'll carry her. You two are like ants moving house, how long will it take you to get there?"

When Fu Jun’s wife heard this, she felt very uncomfortable and sour.

But there was nothing wrong with what Fu Jun said; he was just eager to help.

Wu Ju quickly responded, "Okay, Fu Jun! Thank you for your help."

After Wu Ju said this, Fu Jun's wife had to let go of Zhang Xiaoqin and go forward to push the bicycle.

"You push the bike back! I'll just go with Aunt Wu."

Although Fu Jun's wife was extremely reluctant and unhappy, she couldn't find any words to refute. She could only push her bicycle back obediently, feeling very sad.

Fu Jun carried Zhang Xiaoqin on his back and trotted to the clinic. Wu Ju also trotted behind him, and Xiao Shuangning followed closely behind Wu Ju.

When they arrived at the clinic, the only doctor there rushed forward to save the patient.

Fu Jun was so tired that he was sweating profusely and almost collapsed. Before the doctor could figure out the cause of his illness, he fainted on the ground with a thud.

He was also ill, but for Zhang Xiaoqin, he endured the discomfort and managed to hold on until he sent Zhang Xiaoqin to the clinic before he fainted.

"Fu Jun, Fu Jun, what's wrong with you?"

Hearing the sound, Wu Ju squatted down and called Fu Jun who was lying on the ground.

This really kept the doctor busy.

"Doctor, he fainted too. Can you help him too?" Wu Ju looked anxious, with beads of sweat on her forehead.

The doctor came over and together with Wu Ju helped Fu Jun lie down on the sofa.

The doctor examined Fu Jun's symptoms and said with a smile, "These two really have a tacit understanding. Their symptoms are exactly the same: a cold, a high fever, and dehydration. Add to that the physical exhaustion, and it would be strange if they didn't faint."

"Doctor, is it serious?"

"It's quite serious. First, give him two bottles of saline solution to replenish his fluids and take some antipyretics. Once he's stable, I'll prescribe medication based on the situation."

The doctor explained to Wu Ju while preparing the medicine.

Wu Ju seemed to understand what the doctor said, but she nodded as if pretending to understand. She didn't care what the doctor said, as long as the disease was cured.

She quickly said to Xiao Shuangning who was standing next to her, "Ningning, go tell Aunt Xiaomei that Uncle Fu Jun fainted and ask her to come to the clinic immediately."

Wu Ju thought that although Fu Jun had helped, she didn't have to pay for his medical expenses. She wasn't that kind.

This is money, not half a carrot or a handful of garlic sprouts. You can't just give it away.

She is a stingy person - she never gives a penny.

Xiao Shuangning responded and ran out of the clinic.

After a while, she brought Fu Jun's wife Xiaomei back to the clinic.

At this time, Fu Jun and Zhang Xiaoqin were still unconscious, and Wu Ju, who was standing by, had already dozed off. The other side kept skimming the water, drooling.

Xiaomei ran to Fu Jun anxiously. Even though Fu Jun treated her badly, she still did not hesitate and treated Fu Jun well as always. She was genuinely worried about Fu Jun's health.

She put her hand on Fu Jun's forehead, and the scorching heat passed through her hand, and she was so startled that she almost pulled her hand back. She didn't even bother to wipe the sweat off her forehead, and hurried to the doctor to ask about Fu Jun's condition.

"Doctor, why is his forehead so hot? Please give him some antipyretic medicine right away. How can he keep having this fever?"

Xiaomei quickly sought help from a doctor. She was worried about Fu Jun becoming mentally ill from the fever. Her life was already difficult enough, and if Fu Jun died again, she would be in even greater dire straits.

"I've already added antipyretic medicine. If you're worried, you can cool him down physically with a hot towel."

"So what disease does my man have? Is it serious?"

"The wind-cold is neither too serious nor too mild."

The doctor's words were somewhat ambiguous, so Xiaomei stopped asking questions.

"Doctor, do you have towels and hot water?"

"Hot water is available, but you'll have to bring your own towels."

Xiaomei rushed out of the clinic without thinking and ran to the storage room to buy a towel.

She began to carefully cool Fu Jun down physically.

Under Xiaomei's careful care, Fu Jun's high fever quickly subsided. Xiaomei felt him, but still felt uneasy, so she ran to the doctor to borrow a thermometer.

When she saw the scale on the thermometer stopped at 37 degrees, her frown relaxed slightly.

After a while, Fu Jun woke up.

He opened his eyes drowsily, and the first thing he said was, "Is Xiaoqin awake?"

This was like a bucket of cold water poured on Xiaomei's heart. She was so heartbroken that she didn't know how to answer Fu Jun.

No matter what, Fu Jun is a patient and she can't leave in anger.

She struggled to help Fu Jun up and asked with concern: "Jun, how do you feel now? Are you feeling uncomfortable? Are you in pain? Do you want some water?"

Fu Jun didn't hear a single word of Xiaomei's barrage of questions.

Fu Jun glanced around and found Zhang Xiaoqin still sleeping there.

He pulled out the needle from his hand and staggered towards Zhang Xiaoqin.
