Chapter 267: Upgrade Examination (Part 2)

One of the teachers asked in a skeptical tone, "Are you sure he wrote this essay?"

His composition was indeed unusually good, so good that it was infuriating to the point of making all the Chinese teachers feel ashamed.

The invigilator replied firmly, "It's absolutely true. He wrote it word for word. You know what? It scared me at the time. I almost thought someone had leaked the exam question to him and told him to memorize an essay in advance."

"How is that possible? Even we didn't know the content of the test paper in advance. How could a child like him know?"

"That's right! That's why I was surprised."

"Who cares! It's a good thing that our school has such people. I have to hurry back to cook and I have to supervise the exams this afternoon. I won't say any more to you. I'm leaving now."

After satisfying their curiosity, the teachers all dispersed.

During his lunch break, Xiao Youchen went back to his classroom to sleep. When the exam was approaching, he took his pencil case and headed to the sixth grade classroom.

Zhou Yu smiled and greeted him from afar. After he sat down in his seat, Zhou Yu took out a small bag of candy and placed it on his seat.

Xiao Youchen looked at the candy, then looked at him, puzzled.

"What are you standing there for? These are for you. We are good friends. Let's share the happiness. Look, I have more here!" Zhou Yu took out a few more bags of candy from his pocket, held them in his hand, and showed them off in front of him.

When the students nearby saw this, they all gathered around to grab it.

Zhou Yu quickly put the candy into his pocket, and swiftly put the small bag for Xiao Youchen into his pocket as well.

Classmate A said, "Hey! Zhou Yu, he didn't even share his candy with us old classmates. Do you know him? He's so generous."

"Of course. Can you help me get rid of the nickname 'the last one in a thousand years'? He can." Zhou Yu stood up from the stool and pointed at Xiao Youchen with confidence.

Last in a thousand years?

Xiao Youchen finally understood what he meant by those words in the morning. It turned out that he thought he would fail the exam and that this would help him escape the fate of being ranked last.

He laughed in his heart. What an interesting classmate. It was a pity that his grades were so poor. Otherwise, he really wanted to be friends with him.

Classmate A asked: "How do you know he can?"

"Oh! I forgot to tell you, do you know who he is?" Zhou Yu's mysterious look aroused the curiosity of these children.

"Him? Who could it be?"

"Haha! He's Tang Youchen from Class 1, Grade 5. I went to ask around at noon, and he does exist. I heard he has pretty good grades and has always been number one in the class."

"Countdown?"

"No, it's a positive number."

"Haha! I see that not only are your grades bad, but you're also stupid. How can someone like me help you get rid of the nickname of being the last one in the class? Do you think you have to work hard and ask him to tutor you?"

Zhou Yu was so anxious after hearing what his classmate said that he sat down on his desk, raised his thumb and pointed at his nose and said, "Give me tutoring? I think you're the one who's not thinking straight. Think about it, he's a fifth-grade student. Even if his grades are good, can he really handle sixth-grade problems? Think about it, can he?"

Those students scratched their heads, each of them looking thoughtful.

More and more people gathered around him, and Xiao Youchen was surrounded by them, feeling suffocated and anxious. But he remained calm. No matter how they talked about him or slandered him, he acted as if it had nothing to do with him.

Student A pondered for a moment, then suddenly realized and said, "What you said really makes sense. Why didn't I think of this?"

Zhou Yu jumped off the desk, squeezed out of the crowd and said proudly: "Haha! It just means you are stupid!" It was the first time he felt so accomplished.

He actually called Classmate A stupid. How could Classmate A swallow his anger? He chased after him and wanted to beat him up.

They were chasing each other in the classroom. A classmate took the chicken feather blanket from the podium and chased them while shouting.

The classroom was no longer quiet, but noisy, like a vegetable market.

The invigilator came in with the test papers and shouted, "How long has the bell rung? What are you all still doing? Are you treating this like a playground? Are you all so good at studying that you can get a perfect score? You're all laughing and joking. This doesn't look like you're going to take an exam at all."

The students then returned to their seats. Student A had no choice but to give up chasing and returned to his seat unwillingly.

Zhou Yu won without a fight. He proudly rolled his eyes at his classmates and made a face. Student A was so angry that he couldn't sit still, but with the teacher watching, Student A had no choice but to endure it.
