Chapter 296: Qing Keyu Goes to Look for Wu Meng

Danny used all her strength to break free from Ling Peng's arms and sit up.

"Stop it, I'm serious, not joking. Keke is still waiting downstairs. She just drove me back here because she wanted to know Wu Meng's whereabouts. Hurry up and tell me! Why are you dithering?"

Ling Peng looked at Danni in surprise, doubting his own hearing. He had also heard about Wu Meng and Qing Ke's affair four years ago. They were a pair of enemies who couldn't stand each other!

Why is Miss Shang suddenly concerned about Wu Meng's whereabouts? Is she trying to take advantage of his misfortune and humiliate him while he is in such a miserable state?

"What? Did I hear correctly? You said it was Miss Shang who asked you to ask?"

Danny rolled her eyes at Ling Peng, "Nonsense, do you think I'm bored?"

"What does she want to do? Is she trying to take revenge on Wu Meng?"

"What are you thinking about? Haven't you read the newspaper?"

"Why read the newspaper? I'd rather play a few more games than read the newspaper."

"Ouch! Why are you getting off topic? Stop talking so much nonsense and just tell me the exact address. To put it simply, Coco definitely didn't go to him out of hatred, but out of deep affection. Furthermore, they have a daughter together, and you wouldn't want to separate them and leave the child without a complete family, right?"

Dany was really getting impatient. It was just a matter of a few words, but why was it made so complicated and the topic was getting further and further off topic?

Unexpectedly, the more she tried to make things clearer, the more complicated it became. After hearing what she said, Ling Peng not only did not immediately answer Danni's question, but was even more confused.

"What did you say? Kids? You don't have a fever, do you? This..."

"Hey! Can you please stop being so fussy? Hurry up and write down the address for me so I can go down and tell Coco."

Danny was really impatient. She grabbed a notebook and a pen from under the coffee table, slapped Ling Peng on the leg, and ordered him to write quickly.

“…”

Ling Peng still had a lot of questions he wanted to ask, but seeing Danny's demeanor as the head of the family, he had to swallow them back.

He opened the notebook, picked up the pen and started writing on it.

After he finished, he was about to hand the notebook to Dani, but Dani got there first. Before he could do anything, she snatched the notebook from his hands, tore off the page with the address, and hurried out the door.

Qing Ke was already getting impatient waiting downstairs. She was walking back and forth on the sidewalk, brows furrowed, stamping her feet, her anxiety written all over her face.

Seeing Dany coming out with a smile on her face, she ran up to her like crazy.

"Danni, how is it? Did you find out?" She grabbed Danny's arm tightly and asked anxiously.

"Coco instructed me to do this, so how could I not give it my all? Come on, complete the task perfectly. I hope what I did today didn't make things worse for you. I hope you can really find your happiness."

Danny slapped the paper with the address on it into Qingke's hand. Qingke couldn't wait to open it and read the address on the paper to herself, crying with joy.

"Thank you, Danny!"

After she finished reading, she gave Danny a big hug, thanked her, and drove away quickly.

Hugging, thanking, and driving were all done in one go. Before Dani could react, she could only see the back of her car.

On the way home, Qingke went to the ticket office and booked a flight to New York that night.

As soon as she got home, she hurried upstairs to pack her luggage, and she didn't even have time to pay attention to Cha Cha's greeting.

"Mom, you're back so early!" Cha Cha greeted her happily and was about to act coquettishly towards her.

"Cha Cha, mommy has something to do, go play by yourself." After Qing Ke said that, she rushed upstairs without looking back.

Chacha watched Qingke disappear into the corridor and returned to the sofa dejectedly. She grumbled, clearly angry with Qingke.

Indeed, she and Qing Ke had spent the past three years together, their bond deep and close. This one day of separation felt like a long time. As soon as Qing Ke left in the morning, Cha Cha was eager for night to arrive so she could see her mother.

Although Bai Meng and the nanny were with her during the day, no matter how good they were, they could never replace the maternal love Qing Ke gave her.

"Cha Cha, your mouth is pouting so high. Who made our Cha Cha angry? Tell Plush Bear, and he will help you punish her. Punish her by not letting her eat or take a bath for three days."

Bai Meng saw that Cha Cha was unhappy, so he waved the plush bear in front of her, pretending that the plush bear was talking to her.

"No, I don't want to punish Mom! She must be busy with something important, that's why she ignored Cha Cha."

Children are really easy to coax. Bai Meng got the child to say something with just a few words.

"Oh! So it was Mommy who made Cha Cha unhappy? Okay, wait until she comes down, and Grandma will take charge of Cha Cha and give her a good scolding. Don't be angry anymore, baby!"

Grandma's amiable expression and gentle whispers immediately made Cha Cha smile, with the corners of her mouth pulled in a smile.

"That's right! This is my sweet Cha Cha! Come, come to grandma."

Seeing Cha Cha smile, Bai Meng put down the plush bear in his hand, waved Cha Cha over, held Cha Cha in his arms, and took a banana from the coffee table, peeled it, and handed it to Cha Cha.

"Come, have a banana first. Dinner will have to wait a while."

Cha Cha smiled and nodded, then ate the banana in her hand with relish.

Bai Meng looked at my lovely Cha Cha and smiled with satisfaction. After spending some time together, Bai Meng had already fallen deeply in love with this little granddaughter.
