Wu Meng took great care of Qingke and Chacha, and soon he gained Chacha's forgiveness. His condition also improved, and the family returned home happily.
Wu Meng did his best to hold a wedding for Qing Ke, and the two officially announced to the world that they were husband and wife.
They both lived abroad for some time and were influenced by Western culture, so they chose to hold their wedding in a church in the Western way.
On the wedding day, the house was packed with guests, including relatives and friends of both parties, as well as reporters from major newspapers and magazines.
Although these people appear to be blessing them, many people are actually not optimistic about them. Whether others bless them or ridicule them, it doesn't matter to them because they know that they are the guiding lights of each other's happiness.
Qing Ke was wearing a pure white wedding dress, a veil on her head, and appropriate amount of makeup. She had a happy smile on her face. She looked especially beautiful today.
Wu Meng was wearing a well-fitting suit, his hair was combed neatly, he looked energetic, and his whole body exuded masculine charm and had a strong aura.
The pastor recited the vows he knew by heart: "Mr. Wu Meng, are you willing to marry Ms. Shang Qingke? Love her and be faithful to her, no matter her poverty, illness, or disability, until death. Are you willing?"
Wu Meng smiled and glanced at Qing Ke, then replied without hesitation: "I do!"
The pastor turned his gaze to Qingke and continued to repeat the vows: "Ms. Shang Qingke, are you willing to marry Mr. Wu Meng? Love him and be faithful to him, no matter he is poor, sick or disabled, until death. Are you willing?"
Qing Ke replied without hesitation, "I do!"
The two smiled at each other and exchanged glances.
The pastor continued, "Please ask the bride and groom to exchange tokens."
Danni and Ling Peng slowly walked out from the side with Cha Cha, who was wearing a snow-white princess dress.
Cha Cha was holding a small tray with two dazzling diamond rings on it.
Wu Meng took out a women's ring from the tray and put it on Qingke.
Qing Ke took off the men's ring left on the tray and put it on Wu Meng.
The pastor gave his blessing: "Congratulations, bridegroom, you may kiss your bride now."
The two smiled at each other, and together they lifted Chacha into the air. Simultaneously, they put their mouths close to Chacha's face. Chacha's head was like a meat pie, sandwiched between the two.
All three of them smiled happily at the same time, and the cameras in the hands of the reporters "clicked" to capture this scene. This is the most perfect wedding photo in history, and also the happiest family portrait.
There was deafening applause from the audience, and some people even stood up excitedly and shouted blessings.
The parents on both sides were very pleased to see them laughing so happily, and Wu Zhengxiong laughed so hard that he cried.
In just two months, their lives changed dramatically and they found happiness for each other.
Cha Cha’s household registration problem was also solved, and she became a qualified kindergarten student.
Qing Ke’s persistence was not in vain. Whenever she woke up in the middle of the night, she would recall her persistence and be glad that she did not give up.
If she could turn back time, she couldn't guarantee that she would stick to her original intentions. Because before the dust settled, no one could predict the outcome, and a slight mistake could lead to a huge loss. She was glad that she had chosen the right path.
Their story has come to a perfect end, but their happy life has just begun.
Group 6, Yuanji Village.
After the summer vacation, Xiao Youchen and Xiao Shuangning returned to school and started a new semester.
On the first day of school, the two of them woke up early, washed up, and had breakfast, then they shouldered their schoolbags and headed to school.
Shumei sent the two children to the door. She had spent so many school seasons with her two children, and it was no longer uncommon.
"You two should be careful on the road, get along well with your classmates at school, study hard, and don't cause trouble."
Although she said this almost every day, Xiao Youchen and Xiao Shuangning never complained. Every time, the two siblings responded to her with a smile and in a serious manner.
"Mom knows, let's go."
The two responded with a smile and waved goodbye to Shumei as they walked away.
With the rapid development of the economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the bus to the town has now reached the entrance of the village.
Xiao Youchen no longer has to go to town to live in the school dormitory, or get up at four o'clock to ride his bike to school.
Since the road was built, the time to get to the town has been greatly shortened. It used to take more than two hours to get to the town, but now it only takes a little over an hour.
The only regret is that the two siblings can no longer go to school together or go home together, and they have to go their separate ways at the village entrance.
Wu Meng waited for the first bus to arrive in town, while Xiao Shuangning continued to go towards the elementary school.
"Brother, then you wait for the bus slowly. I'm leaving first." Xiao Shuangning looked at Xiao Youchen with some reluctance. After all, the two of them had been inseparable for so many years and had never been separated.
"Well, be careful on the road, study hard at school, and don't get into trouble. Mom is already tired enough, don't make her more troubled."
"Oh! It's as if you are much older than me. I understand everything you understand. Am I really that ignorant?" Little Shuangning muttered, obviously a little impatient. "Let's go. Goodbye!"
As she walked, she stretched out her palms and waved to Xiao Youchen behind her.
Little Youchen also said "goodbye" and watched Xiao Shuangning walk away reluctantly.
Xiao Shuangning was still facing familiar classmates and familiar teachers, everything was so familiar.
