Chapter 331: Waiting for Death Alone

"Speak up! Quibble! Explain! Haven't you always had a silver tongue? Can you turn black into white? Why are you showing mercy to me now?"

The eldest son may have inherited her eloquence. Every word he said hits the mark, and his speech flows like a torrent of water, endless.

Zhang Xiaoqin felt sad and couldn't help but burst into tears.

Jiang Fu's wife felt a little bit sorry for what she saw, but there must be something hateful about this pitiful person. If she had not been hateful in the past, how could she be pitiful today?

"I...I just want to take one last look at you. I don't mean to quibble. I just want to hear you call me mom one last time."

"Dream on. I don't have a mother like you. If you want me to call you mom again, I'll have to wait for the next life! You actually brought these questionable men to my house. You are completely hopeless." The eldest son refused very decisively. After he said that, he cast a look of hatred at Niu Wa, rushed into his room, and slammed the door shut.

Zhang Xiaoqin helplessly watched her eldest son's departing back, her heart broken.

She turned her gaze to her youngest son, who had been standing there silently, "Second son..."

Before she could say anything, her youngest son turned away, went into his room and closed the door.

She chased after him and kept banging on the doors of her two sons' rooms.

"Eldest, second oldest, I'm sick. I don't have much time left. I'm going to die soon. Can't I get your forgiveness before I die? Can't I hear you call me mom one more time?"

"Stop it! Stop acting! Even if you're really going to die, I won't call you again. If you really want to do this for my own good, just leave now and don't disturb our lives."

The youngest son hesitated after hearing her words, but he still didn't open the door. The eldest son's attitude remained firm, and he showed no sign of backing down.

When she heard her son say this, she stopped clapping her hands, and her whole body seemed to be hollowed out. She slid down the door and sat on the ground, tears streaming down her face.

Seeing this, Niu Wa hurried over to help her. Seeing this, Jiang Fu's wife also wanted to go over to support her, but was stopped by Jiang Fu.

"Xiaoqin, are you okay?"

"I...I'm fine, help me walk!"

Niu Wa helped Zhang Xiaoqin up. At that moment, she felt no resentment or hatred towards the children. Instead, she felt endless regret, regretting her decision. Now it was too late. She could only wait for death alone with regret.

As Niu Wa walked, he muttered to himself at the top of his voice, "Really? I've never seen anyone treat someone else's children like this. After all, this is your biological mother. Without your mother, you wouldn't exist. You are such ungrateful little bastards."

Although Jiang Fu has a new life, his personality has not changed at all. He tries to speak as little as possible. Watching Zhang Xiaoqin arguing with his two sons, he just stood quietly by and said nothing.

Even when this unrelated Niu Wa said this about his son, he remained calm and said nothing.

What Niu Wa said reached the ears of his two sons. The youngest son softened his heart, opened the door, and looked at Zhang Xiaoqin's somewhat hunched back with a sad expression.

Hearing the voice, Zhang Xiaoqin stopped and turned to look at her youngest son.

The two looked at each other silently, and when they were about to speak, the eldest son rushed out of the house angrily and pounced on Niu Wa and Zhang Xiaoqin like a wild beast.

Niu Wa was caught off guard and was knocked back a few steps by a punch from his eldest son.

The eldest son was young and strong, with quick eyes and hands. He hit Niu Wa with a few more rounds, and he couldn't recover. Then he kicked Niu Wa to the ground, and he fell on his back.

He began to kick Niu Wa more frantically, and Niu Wa rolled on the ground holding his head.

His actions surprised everyone. They ran up to pull him and dissuade him, forcibly stopping his punches and kicks.

His legs and feet stopped moving, and he began to work on his mouth.

"Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you come to my house and act wild? Who let you, a wild dog, in? What I do is not your turn to point fingers and dictate. If you dare to come to my house and talk nonsense again, I will beat you to a pulp, you bastard! Birds of a feather flock together, so get out of here now, as far away as you can, and don't ever show up in front of me in this life, or I will beat you up every time I see you."

The eldest son has a really hot temper and gets violent if he disagrees with something.

Niu Wa was beaten black and blue, and Zhang Xiaoqin and Jiang Fu's wife had to use a lot of strength to lift him up from the ground.

"You...you're such a daredevil! You even dare to hit me! Do you believe I'll pull out your tendons?"

"Come on! Who's afraid of who? You won't cry until you see the coffin."

“Come on!”

As they were talking, they were about to squeeze together again, but were stopped by the crowd.

"Can you please just quiet down?" Zhang Xiaoqin yelled at Niu Wa angrily.

"Could it be that the beating I received was in vain?"

Zhang Xiaoqin took out a stack of money from her bag and secretly put it into Niu Wa's hand.

"That's fine, right? Go out and wait for me downstairs."

When Niu Wa saw the money, stars appeared in his eyes. He quickly put the money into his pocket and walked out the door, covering his swollen face as Zhang Xiaoqin instructed.

Seeing this, her eldest son yelled, "Why are you running away? Weren't you so tough just now? Why are you giving in now? Come on, let's fight!"

Niu Wa was very angry when he heard these words, but for the sake of money, he gritted his teeth and endured it.

After Niu Wa, the bastard, left the house, Zhang Xiaoqin humbly apologized to her son: "Boss, I'm sorry. I was wrong to make you angry again. Don't worry, I won't disturb your lives again. I have some money here. Please take it out as compensation for my previous incompetence!"
