She looked at the ceiling illuminated by the light, her hands tightly grasping the quilt. She tried hard to fall asleep quickly, but she couldn't fall asleep.
When she was half asleep, she heard a thudding sound outside the room, like someone was hitting the ground with something. The sound was very rhythmic, again and again.
The sound was getting closer and clearer.
Suddenly, the sound stopped.
Her heart tightened, and then she heard someone opening her door.
The door opened and the sound started again, "Dong-Dong-Dong-"
The sound was getting closer and closer, so close that she could almost feel it was right next to her ear.
She used trembling hands to remove the quilt covering her head, trying to see what was making the sound.
The covers were moved away and she was about to open her eyes when she heard a very deep voice.
"Zhang Shuangning, I'm so lonely, come down and keep me company!"
She didn't bother to see what it was, and screamed and threw the quilt at the thing that was talking. At the same time, the monster standing in front of the bed nimbly jumped back two steps and dodged the quilt she threw.
She opened her eyes and saw a horrible face. She screamed one after another and jumped up in fear.
