"Father, go back with Boyi first!"
Before Boyi could finish his words, she stood up, walked to the door, and called Zhang Binglin out.
"Then Shumei, be careful on your own. I'll go back with Boyi first."
After Zhang Binglin said this, Boyi felt even more embarrassed to speak. He had no choice but to do as Shumei asked and helped Zhang Binglin walk out of the hospital.
After Boyi and the others left, Shumei returned to the ward and stayed by Wencai's bed, taking his temperature from time to time, for fear that he would have a fever again.
Not long after, the old lady rushed to the hospital, anxiously asked the nurse which ward Wencai was in, and then ran to the ward.
"Shumei, how is Wencai?"
As the old lady came in, she walked towards Wencai's bed and asked Shumei.
"Auntie, are you here? Wencai hasn't woken up yet, but the doctor checked him out and said it's just a cold, nothing serious. After this bottle of IV drip, he can go home once he wakes up."
As Shumei spoke, she helped the old lady to the stool where she was sitting.
The old lady frowned, held Wencai's hand, and stared at the sleeping Wencai.

"Wencai was born seven months premature after a fall. Everyone said he wouldn't grow up. But as a mother, I couldn't bear to give up on him, so I took care of him meticulously. For the first two months, I barely slept, never leaving his side. He didn't let me down and survived safely. He didn't learn to walk until he was two years old, and he was extremely weak. A headache or fever would take him two weeks to recover. Therefore, I doted on him from a young age, reluctant to hit or scold him. He was such a smart and sensible child, and I spoiled him into this state. Alas! It's all my fault. I only now understand that my indulgence in food and clothing was harmful to my child. I hope it's not too late, and my Wencai can pull himself together and become a normal person who supports himself with his own hands, instead of a parasite who clings to his parents."
The old lady said a lot to Shumei with tears in her eyes, which gave Shumei a new understanding of Wencai.
No wonder Wencai caught a cold and remained in a coma for so long.
Shumei squatted down and held the old aunt's arm, her expression also a little heavy.
