Chapter 98 Jiang Ling is crazy

"How dare you say that? It's all thanks to you. You still have the nerve to come back. Get out of here, you vicious woman. It's you who ruined my Lingling. It's you who ruined her marriage with Wei Jie. Get out, get out, get out..."

The mother-in-law picked up a broom as tall as a person in the yard and chased Zhang Xiaoqin.

Zhang Xiaoqin's face was thicker than a city wall. No matter how hard her mother-in-law chased her, she never left the courtyard, muttering to herself, "Isn't this just asking for trouble? What's the big deal? Why not just marry Wang Changxing? If she has come to her senses now, it's not too late. I can reluctantly go and plead for her."

“You, you, you…”

My mother-in-law was gasping for air and was so angry that she couldn't speak.

Seeing that her mother-in-law stopped chasing and was catching her breath, Zhang Xiaoqin walked over, snatched the broom from her hand, and threw it hard to the ground.

"I can tolerate this kind of thing this time, but if you dare to hit me again next time, don't blame me for being rude. Let me tell you. This is my home. I helped your Jiang family raise children. Even if I didn't do anything meritorious, I did work hard. If you want to drive me away, there's no way."

Zhang Xiaoqin said these words viciously, stomped hard on the broom on the ground, and swaggered back to the room.

The mother-in-law couldn't do anything to her and could only sit on the stone bench in the yard and sulk.

Zhang Xiaoqin, perhaps tired from walking, fell asleep as soon as she entered the house. When she woke up, it was already night. As soon as she woke up, she smelled the delicious aroma of food, which aroused her cravings.

She put on her shoes, opened the door, sat down at the dining table, picked up her bowl and chopsticks and started eating without any courtesy.

The Jiang family looked at her with hatred, except for the two children, who, because she was their mother, did not get angry with her. When they saw her come out, they kept calling her mother.

"Why did you come back?" Jiang Fu asked coldly, his voice was so cold that it was intimidating.

"What a joke! This is my home. My children and husband are all here. If I don't come back here, where else can I go?" Zhang Xiaoqin said confidently. She glanced at Jiang Ling who was sitting there in a daze. "Lingling, I thought you were an educated person. Why didn't you respond when my sister-in-law called you at the village entrance today?"

Jiang Fu shouted sternly, "Shut up! Don't you think it's not enough to hurt Lingling?"

Zhang Xiaoqin slammed her chopsticks on the table, stood up, pointed at Jiang Fu's nose and cursed: "Jiang Fu, you want to open a dyeing house without even being taught a lesson. I won't argue with you, but you're still getting ahead of me. Are you tired of your good life, or are you tired of living? If you dare to yell at me again, I'll break up with you."

"Let's break up, and we can't live like this anymore." Jiang Fu said, then rushed out of the yard and squatted under the big elm tree outside the yard, smoking one cigarette after another.

Since everyone had left, Zhang Xiaoqin couldn't continue to direct and act on her own. She sat back on the stool and continued to eat. She couldn't let her stomach suffer no matter what. No matter what, the most important thing was to fill her stomach first.

The two children probably didn't want to see her like that, so they whispered in unison, "I'm full!" and put down their chopsticks and went back to their room.

For Jiang Ling, who was already on the verge of collapse, any slight disturbance was unbearable. She didn't even have the courage to cry. She smiled foolishly and returned to her room in a daze.

Seeing that Jiang Ling ignored her, Zhang Xiaoqin felt bored. She finished her meal in silence and went back to her room to rest.

The next morning, Jiang Ling got up early again, went to the village entrance, and sat on the big rock with a dull look in her eyes. She laughed wildly from time to time, and passers-by were frightened by her actions.

The villagers kindly told the Jiang family about the situation, and Jiang Fu and her mother hurried over to check it out.

"Lingling, Lingling, what's wrong with you?" Her mother kept calling her name, but she seemed to be completely deaf to it and just kept smiling foolishly. Her mother was scared to tears.

"Lingling, I'm your brother! Look at me, look at me." Jiang Fu grabbed Lingling's arm and asked her to take a good look at him.

Jiang Ling then turned her gaze to Jiang Fu, her laughter turning into tears as she threw herself into Jiang Fu's arms. "Ajie, you're here, you're finally here. We'll never be separated again. Promise me you won't leave me again. I miss you so much."

Jiang Fu pushed her away and shook her hard, "Lingling, look carefully, I am your brother!"

Jiang Ling immediately burst into laughter, broke free from Jiang Fu's hand, jumped off the rock, and walked towards home, staggering from side to side as if she was drunk.

Jiang Fu and her mother hurried after them. Her mother cried as she walked, "Lingling, my poor daughter, what happened to you? Don't scare me!"

When Jiang Ling saw villagers passing by, she went up to them and grabbed them, holding on tightly and not letting go. "Ajie, you're here! You're finally here."

Seeing this, Jiang Fu stopped supporting his old mother and quickly stepped forward to drag Jiang Ling away, repeatedly apologizing to the villagers.

In desperation, Jiang Fu had to drag Jiang Ling back home by force. To prevent her from causing trouble again, they had to lock her up.

Just like that, Jiang Ling went crazy. Her willpower was not as strong as Shumei's, so she chose to use this method to escape the cruel reality.

The one who pushed Jiang Ling into this desperate situation was her sister-in-law.

The Jiang family didn't bother to figure out who was right and rushed Jiang Ling to the hospital. If the town hospital wasn't working, they went to the county hospital, and if that didn't work, they went to the provincial hospital. The results were the same. No doctor could guarantee a cure.

What followed were huge medical expenses and endless amounts of medicine.

Boyi didn't have much money at the moment, so he postponed the renting of a storefront and continued riding his tricycle, shouting about collecting food from the surrounding area.
