Chapter 99 Divorce

Zhang Xiaoqin cursed and knocked the bowl of food prepared for Jiang Ling to the ground. She leaned over, grabbed a handful of food with one hand, and with the other hand, she pulled Jiang Ling's hair, trying to force the dirty food into her mouth.

"Eat! Go ahead and eat! You useless thing, what else can you do besides harming people?"

Zhang Xiaoqin said this with gritted teeth, her ferocious expression making people shudder.

Perhaps because she made too much noise, Jiang Fu, who was washing clothes in the yard, heard the noise inside the house. When her mother-in-law, who was feeding the pigs next to the pigpen, saw Jiang Fu running in in a panic, she followed him in.

Jiang Fu pushed open the door, and Zhang Xiaoqin's vicious side was completely exposed in his eyes.

"Zhang Xiaoqin, stop it, you lunatic."

When Jiang Fu saw her abusing Jiang Ling, he was furious. He rushed over roaring and pulled Zhang Xiaoqin away.

"Why is she so mean? She brought this upon herself. She's such an ungrateful person. She married him obediently, but ended up in this mess today. She's really hurting herself and others. If she's looking for her own death, why not drag us down with her?"

Zhang Xiaoqin complained confidently, not showing any fear at all because of the action just now.

The mother-in-law also walked quickly to Jiang Ling's side with a look of heartache. She was already distressed that her daughter had become like this, and after hearing Zhang Xiaoqin's shameless talk, she was so angry that her eyes rolled back in her sockets.

Jiang Fu was so angry that his eyes were wide open. He pointed at Zhang Xiaoqin and couldn't say a word. He rushed out of the room angrily, returned to his own room, found the marriage certificate, rushed back to Jiang Ling's room, and dragged Zhang Xiaoqin out.

Jiang Fu is a man after all. If he really uses force, Zhang Xiaoqin will not be able to break free even if she tries to cheat.

Zhang Xiaoqin struggled desperately, "Let me go, where are you taking me? You bastard, you're hurting me."

"Go to the Civil Affairs Bureau. Don't you think our family is a burden to you? Then let's get a divorce. You go your way, and I go mine. We won't get in each other's way."

Jiang Fu had really reached the end of his patience this time. He wasn't just saying this in anger; this time he really wanted to end this inhuman life. He didn't care what others said behind his back; he couldn't care less.

Zhang Xiaoqin stood firmly on her feet, slapping Jiang Fu's hands repeatedly, unwilling to go with him.

"Jiang Fu, you're rebelling! How dare you ask for a divorce from me? Are you out of your mind?"

Although the mother-in-law disliked this overbearing daughter-in-law, she understood the principle of "marry a chicken, follow the chicken, marry a dog, follow the dog" and had never considered divorce. Naturally, she did not want to see her son's family broken up. Even if she took a step back, for the sake of her two grandsons, she could not let her son divorce his wife.

"Afu, forget it. Husband and wife quarrel at the head of the bed and make up at the foot of the bed. Just say a few words and don't make things worse." The mother-in-law stood up with tears in her eyes and persuaded Jiang Fu.

Jiang Fu said firmly: "If this marriage is not divorced, I, Jiang Fu, will have no face to live in this world. This time, even if I die, I will drive this bitch out of my Jiang family."

Zhang Xiaoqin was instantly enraged by Jiang Fu's decisive words. She considered herself beautiful and intelligent, and considered marrying Jiang Fu a step down. Now, Jiang Fu had the audacity to despise her and threaten her with divorce.

"Let's divorce, who's afraid of who? Do you think that you, Jiang Fu, are rich but inferior to Pan An in appearance? I, Zhang Xiaoqin, still cling to you, as if the earth will not turn without you. Let's go, don't regret it and come to me for help later."

Zhang Xiaoqin is very competitive. The more Jiang Fu is like this, the more she refuses to admit defeat.

She stopped struggling and followed Jiang Fu, and they walked out the door hand in hand.

The mother-in-law wanted to persuade him again, so she chased him out of the door and kept calling Jiang Fu's name, "Afu, Afu..."

Jiang Fu heard the voice and turned back to reply, "Mother, go back! My mind is as clear as a mirror, I am not confused."

Walking out of the courtyard, Zhang Xiaoqin fiercely shook off Jiang Fu's hand, "Take your stinky hand away, I know how to walk, are you afraid that I will run away? I tell you, Jiang Fu, whoever doesn't divorce you today."

Zhang Xiaoqin had an arrogant expression on her face, and after saying this, she quickly walked out of the village.

In this way, Jiang Fu and Zhang Xiaoqin successfully divorced.

Since there was no property division between them, the divorce certificate was quickly obtained. The Jiang family was now penniless, with huge foreign debts and not even a spare needle.

Zhang Xiaoqin thought that she was only in her early thirties and still in the prime of her life. She was planning to find someone better, and she would naturally not keep a child as a burden.

She was secretly happy to be free of the burden of such a large family! After leaving the Civil Affairs Bureau, she felt particularly relaxed, as if a heavy burden had been lifted off her shoulders, and even more like a caged bird regaining its freedom.

When she got home, she started packing up her things. What she called her things were everything she could take away, not even a needle or thread.

Her mother-in-law, father-in-law and Jiang Fu watched her rummaging through the drawers in the house, looking for things she wanted to take away.

She found a relatively exquisite teapot and said to herself: This looks good. I'll go back and make tea for Dad. Then she stuffed the teapot into the bag.

"That is..."

When the mother-in-law saw her take the teapot away, she was about to say something but was stopped by Jiang Fu.

"Mother, let her take it. Let her take enough at once. If she is greedy again, it will only be this time. From now on, she will have nothing to do with our family anymore."

After a long struggle, Zhang Xiaoqin was finally satisfied. But looking at the large and small bags of things in the yard, she was troubled again. How could she move so many things? She pondered and set her sights on Jiang Fu. If there was free transportation, why not use it?
