"Okay, it's okay. I have plenty of time. The children's affairs are important. I've always dreamed that we could become in-laws!" Bai Meng responded politely.
She was quite satisfied with Mrs. Dong's son, but he was busy with his studies and a little older, but in other aspects he was definitely one in a million. If they hadn't taken the initiative to bring him up with Qing Ke that day, Bai Meng would have been too embarrassed to bring it up.

Mrs. Dong's clear voice finally came from the other end of the phone, "Mrs. Shang, are you still there?"

"I have an unwelcome request. It's from my ignorant son! He wants me to ask what specific flight your Qingke is taking and which airport he's landing at. "What's the big deal? Take notes and I'll tell you right away. July 16th, Sunday morning at 10:30..." Bai Meng repeated to Mrs. Dong the information that Shang Xin had told her before, word for word.
While listening, Mrs. Dong repeated the information loudly to Dong Xuan who was waiting beside her.
Dong Xuan squatted beside the coffee table, holding a pen and paper, and carefully wrote down what his mother said. His expression was particularly serious, as if he was afraid he had misheard.
A week later, in the airport lobby...
Shang Xin and Bai Meng were waiting anxiously at the airport exit, but they hadn't seen Dong Xuan yet.

This excuse obviously didn't work; they had a smooth journey all the way here. Besides, if they really wanted to, they would have thought of leaving earlier. How could they be late?

The two were arguing fiercely when Dong Xuan came slowly.
He was wearing a light blue shirt, black trousers, and liver-colored leather casual shoes. His hair was styled in a fluffy style, and he wore a pair of large-lens black sunglasses. He walked with a breeze, and his rate of turning heads was quite high. He was holding a bouquet of flowers in his hand, and it seemed that he had done a good job of appearances.
He recognized Bai Meng at a glance, but Bai Meng was blind and didn't recognize him.
"Hello, Auntie! I'm late. Is Miss Qing Ke not out yet?"
Bai Meng stared at Dong Xuan in front of her infatuatedly, and for a moment she didn't come back to her senses. "Who are you?"
Dong Xuan took off his sunglasses. Bai Meng covered her mouth in shock. "It turned out to be Dong Xuan?"
Dong Xuan smiled and said, "Aunt, I guess this must be your uncle, right?" He turned his gaze to Shang Xin who was standing next to Bai Meng.
Shang Xin had a gloomy face, and it was obvious that he was very angry because Dong Xuan was late.
Bai Meng glanced at Shang Xin and quickly introduced him with a smile, "Yes! This is Qingke's father, you can just call him uncle. Old Shang, this is Mrs. Dong's son, Dong Xuan, whom I told you about."
"Hello, uncle!" Dong Xuan nodded politely to Shang Xin.
Shang Xin gave him a look of disdain, coughed, and said, "Stop talking. Keep an eye on Keke. She doesn't know we're coming to pick her up, and she won't even notice if we pass by her later."
After he finished speaking, he turned and looked towards the exit.
Bai Meng smiled awkwardly and explained to Dong Xuan in a low voice, "Ah Xuan! Your uncle Shang is quite strict. You'll just get used to it. He's like that with others, too. He's neither cold nor warm."
Dong Xuan smiled without saying anything and nodded in response. The three of them looked eagerly at the exit.
After a while, Qing Ke came out holding a little girl of three or four years old and pushing a gift cart.
Bai Meng and Shang Xin recognized her at a glance and ran over to greet her excitedly.
"Coco, you're finally back."
"Keke, you miss your mother so much. After you left, I lost my appetite and even fell seriously ill. You've been gone for four years. You unfilial daughter, have you forgotten the parents who gave birth to you and raised you?"
