The sales assistant enthusiastically pushed a row of dresses over for him to choose from.
His gaze swept over the items, and his long, slender fingers pointed to a few:
"This light purple one, and that hazy blue one, hmm, that champagne-colored spaghetti strap one is also nice, let her try them on."
Yan Ning was pushed into the spacious and luxurious fitting room like a porcelain doll.
She tried on the light purple strapless dress first.
The skirt was adorned with tiny crystals, shimmering and sparkling as she moved.

She went back and changed into that hazy blue off-the-shoulder fishtail dress.
This outfit is even more figure-hugging, perfectly highlighting her curves.
She came out again.
Xie Huaiye's gaze lingered on her for noticeably longer.
He got up and walked over, slowly circling around her.
We're getting closer.
Yan Ning could even smell his fresh and pleasant scent.
"This one is very good."
His voice was low, his gaze lingering on her smooth shoulder line:
"It's just... too tight, it's inconvenient to move around, and you'll be tired after standing for a long time at the banquet."
As he spoke, he reached out and gestured vaguely at her waist.
Their fingertips almost touched, yet maintained a subtle distance.
Yan Ning felt goosebumps rise on the places where his gaze swept over her.
