Suddenly, a girl wearing glasses timidly approached, clutching a small booklet in her hand:
"Excuse me... are you Yan Ning? I really like you! Could you please sign your autograph for me?"
Yan Ning was a little surprised, but immediately smiled and said, "Of course you can."
She took the pen and skillfully signed her name.
The girl blushed with joy and repeatedly said "thank you".
Unexpectedly, this signing was like flipping a switch.
Several passersby who had been watching also gathered around:
"I want one too! Can you sign one for me?"
"Can we take a photo together, Yan Ning? I've been following you for a long time!"
Xie Huaiye stood next to Yan Ning, smiling as he watched her sign her autograph, and even joked:
"Wow, Yan Ning is really popular."
But as more and more people gathered, he was pushed back step by step.
Someone stepped on his white sneakers.
He hissed and hopped on one foot to put his shoes on.
The crowd that had gathered had already blocked half of the sidewalk.
Yan Ning patiently signed autographs and took photos with the group.
Xie Huaiye finally couldn't hold back any longer.
He squeezed back into the center of the crowd, grabbed Yan Ning's wrist, and raised his voice:
That's all for today, thank you everyone for enjoying! See you next time!
After saying that, he protected Yan Ning and squeezed through the crowd.
Several fans were still shouting from behind, "Ningning, take good care of yourself."
As Yan Ning was being pulled along, she turned back and waved.
After running a few steps, a sudden downpour began.
Xie Huaiye immediately took off his coat and covered Yan Ning's head:
"Run! Run! There's shelter from the rain up ahead!"
Yan Ning was being protected by him as they ran, laughing so hard she could hardly breathe:
"Serves you right for being so flashy! Now you've been recognized, haven't you? If you want to show off, you shouldn't choose a place with so many people!"
Xie Huaiye covered Yan Ning's head with his coat.
Most of his body was exposed to the rain, but he was smiling quite happily.
"I'll do it again next time!"
"You're the naughtiest kid around."
Yan Ning hid under his coat and gently bumped him with her arm.
The rain was getting heavier, and they ran all the way into the subway station entrance.
Xie Huaiye's coat was soaked, and Yan Ning's bangs were dripping wet.
The two looked at each other's disheveled appearance and laughed.
Doesn't it look like a refugee fleeing a disaster?
Xie Huaiye joked as he wiped the rain off her face.
"Like you've kidnapped her." Yan Ning blinked.
He leaned closer and lowered his voice: "Would you like to come with me?"
Yan Ning nudged him, laughing even harder: "Dream on!"
Outside the station, the rain was pouring down, while inside, the two of them were laughing together.

The rain has stopped.
The streets were filled with a fresh scent after the rain.
Yan Ning and Xie Huaiye walked hand in hand on their way home.
Their shadows intertwined in the puddles.
Sometimes it stretches, sometimes it shortens.
Are you cold?
Xie Huaiye felt Yan Ning shiver slightly.
He immediately pulled her closer to him.
Yan Ning shook her head, and the water droplets at the ends of her hair gently fell with the movement:
"It's a bit chilly, but it's okay."
Xie Huaiye immediately took off his coat and draped it over her shoulders.
Even though the jacket was also half wet.
Yan Ning wanted to decline, but he stopped her with a look:
"Wear it, we'll be there soon."
After a while, the two arrived at the Xie family villa.
"Come in." Xie Huaiye stepped aside to let Yan Ning enter first.
He followed and turned on the living room light.
Warm light instantly filled the entire space.
Yan Ning stood in the entryway, looking somewhat bewildered at the expensive carpet beneath her feet.
Her shoes were still wet.
Xie Huaiye saw through her concerns and chuckled softly:
"It's alright, I'll call a cleaning service to clean it up later. Go take a shower first, don't catch a cold."
He pointed towards the bathroom, "The towels and bathrobes are new, they're in the closet."
Yan Ning hesitated for a moment: "And what about you?"
Xie Huaiye tugged at the shirt that was sticking to his body.
Water droplets slid down his sharply defined jawline:
"I'll wash after you're done washing."
Yan Ning nodded and walked into the bathroom with the clothes he handed her.
The warm water washed away the chill and relieved the fatigue.
She came out wearing the bathrobe that Xie Huaiye had prepared.
Her face still had a blush from the steam.
However, the scene in the living room stunned her.
Xie Huaiye had already finished taking a shower.
He simply threw on a dark bathrobe, the belt loosely tied around his waist.
His neckline was open, revealing a strong chest and clearly defined collarbones.
He leaned back on the sofa, his wet black hair casually draped over his forehead.
A few drops of water were sliding down the ends of her hair.
It flowed past the Adam's apple and finally disappeared deep into the lapel.
Hearing the noise, he looked up, a smile playing in his deep eyes:
"Are you done washing?"
Yan Ning felt her cheeks start to burn again.
She subconsciously looked away:
"Why are you... sitting in the living room dressed like that? Aren't you afraid someone will see you?"
Xie Huaiye chuckled softly, stood up, and walked towards her.
His bathrobe opened slightly with his movement, revealing his well-defined abdominal muscles.
Yan Ning unconsciously took a step back, but he reached out and put his arm around her waist.
“They’ve all gone out,” he said in a low, gentle voice. “It’s just the two of us on the third floor; nobody usually comes up here.”
He leaned closer, his nose almost touching her forehead:
"And... I want you to see it."
