Chapter 19 Focus (1 / 2)

Luo Jiaojiao, brought back by Leng Mohan, has now become the focus of heated discussion in the army.

Someone once caught a glimpse of the window of Leng Mohan's room open, where Leng Mohan hung out his clothes to dry. There was not only his military uniform, but also several skirts that were obviously women's, fluttering gracefully in the wind.

This undoubtedly confirmed the long-standing rumor that Leng Mohan really brought back a woman, and she was his wife.

Meanwhile, Zhou Wenwen returned to an empty home, where she was the only one. Her parents had gone to her grandfather's relatives' house to attend a wedding banquet, and her eldest brother had not yet returned.

As soon as she entered the room, she was so angry that she smashed everything in the room. Finally, she fell on the bed exhausted, tears falling silently. The jealousy and loss in her heart were like a flood, which could not be suppressed.

Zhou Wenwen had been in love with Leng Mohan for five years, but he brought back a wife from outside and showed no regard for her feelings. Zhou Wenwen cried loudly throughout the afternoon.

Leng Mohan knew nothing about Zhou Wenwen's sadness and didn't care. In his eyes, Zhou Wenwen was just an insignificant person.

When Leng Mohan was hanging clothes, he noticed someone was watching him, but he didn't care. He hung Luo Jiaojiao's underwear in the window to dry, and he didn't worry about it not drying out because it was placed in a place where the sun could shine.

"Can you stay at home alone? If you are still sleepy, you might as well sleep a little longer or eat some snacks. I have to go deal with some marriage and housing approval matters." Leng Mohan looked at Luo Jiaojiao gently and asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine being alone at home. I will stay home well and won't go out casually. You don't have to worry about me. When you're not around, I won't dare go out without permission." Luo Jiaojiao understood his busyness and responded considerately.

"I will find something to pass the time and won't let myself get bored. You go and do your work, don't worry about me." Luo Jiaojiao looked at him with a sensible and well-behaved look and said softly.

"Okay." Leng Mohan nodded, then turned around and prepared to leave. He looked at Zhou Wenwen deeply, with a hint of firmness and determination in his eyes.

He knew that he had to handle all of this well and not let Luo Jiaojiao have any bad reputation. The relationship between him and Zhou Wenwen was originally very innocent, and he didn't want things to become complicated because of some misunderstandings.

He reminded her again: "Remember, no matter who asks you to open the door except me, don't open it. This is very important."

Zhou Wenwen nodded, her eyes full of understanding and trust. She knew that Leng Mohan was a trustworthy person, and he would definitely handle everything.

Leng Mohan nodded with satisfaction. He knew that he would have to deal with a lot of things later, but he was ready. No matter what, he would not let Luo Jiaojiao get hurt.

"Wouldn't that be bad? If someone knocks on the door and I don't open it, wouldn't that be too rude? What if they say something unpleasant and it affects you?"

Luo Jiaojiao's concerns are reasonable. After all, in social situations, if someone knocks on the door and you don't answer it, it may be considered impolite or arrogant.

She was worried that such behavior might have a negative impact on her and Leng Mohan, especially if others judged her as aloof and thus had a bad impression of him.
