Chapter 66 Emotion (2 / 2)

Her heart was also telling her that she shouldn't escape, and that she didn't hate it.

Luo Jiaojiao figured it out and felt inexplicably relieved. "I am your wife. This is my duty. I am doing this voluntarily." Luo Jiaojiao looked at Leng Mohan and said.

Leng Mohan quietly stared at the woman curled up in his arms, and an unprecedented peace surged in his heart. After releasing all his fatigue and sleeping for the second half of the night, his body was no longer heavy, but instead extremely comfortable.

He moved his fingers gently, feeling the delicate touch of the woman's skin under his hands, which was warm, smooth and intoxicating.

This wonderful feeling made him involuntarily caress the woman's slender waist again and again, and desire gradually ignited in his heart.

"No." Luo Jiaojiao's voice was like a silver bell trembling in the night wind, with a hint of determination and shyness.

She closed her eyes tightly, as if she was afraid of what was about to happen. She could clearly feel the man's hands wandering around her waist becoming hot and powerful, like wildfire, ruthlessly devouring her inner defenses.

She couldn't help but panic, and quickly stretched out her slender fingers to hold the restless hand tightly.

Luo Jiaojiao bravely met the man's deep gaze. Those eyes seemed to contain endless stars and the sea, which could easily make people sink into them.

She opened her trembling lips and explained, "It still hurts." Her voice was like the morning dew, with a hint of weakness and grievance, which made people feel pity for her.

Leng Mohan looked at Luo Jiaojiao in front of him, and the fire in his heart was instantly extinguished. He looked at her deeply, and a helpless smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, "Squeamish girl, don't do that again tonight."

He knew that only when she was pushed into a desperate situation would she show her rare willfulness.

Usually, she is like a soft and sticky rice dumpling, making people want to pinch and take a bite of it.

Luo Jiaojiao couldn't help but feel relieved when she heard Leng Mohan's words. She knew that she had successfully prevented him from getting closer to her. However, the shyness and panic in her heart did not dissipate.

She lowered her head slightly, not daring to look into Leng Mohan's deep eyes again, for fear that she would fall into them again.

Just then, a gentle breeze blew, bringing some coolness to the night.

Luo Jiaojiao couldn't help but shiver and hugged her shoulders tightly.

Seeing this, Leng Mohan felt a little pity in his heart. He pulled the quilt over to cover her and hugged her tighter.

"Jiaojiao, I won't let you regret it," Leng Mohan assured Luo Jiaojiao in a low and gentle voice. "I was too impatient. We had agreed to move to the house we applied for before consummating the marriage." His embrace was like a warm harbor, making Luo Jiaojiao feel extremely safe and warm.

Luo Jiaojiao snuggled in Leng Mohan's arms, feeling his strong heartbeat and warm embrace.

She knew that she was no longer alone. With Leng Mohan's company and protection, she really had a husband who loved her and a home that would protect her from the wind and rain. She no longer had to worry about being homeless.

"I believe you, Brother Leng, and I don't regret being with you. It's you who gave me a home." Luo Jiaojiao looked at Leng Mohan gratefully and said.
