"No!" Fracheska’s screeching voice was just as loud as the sound of the glass breaking into tiny little pieces. Then the shield completely vanished.
Almost immediately, Francheska ran towards Ava. Jude and Samuel quickly followed.
Then Erenes quickly sit up another shield this time, it surrounded everyone on the stage including Amore.
"Why are you still protecting her!?" Francheska yelled at Erenes. "Remove your protection from that woman! Let the werewolves feed on her!"
"No," Erenes said. "Look at the blood on Amore’s nose. Ava is fighting back. If something happens to Amore’s body then the illusion is going to be interrupted and I am not sure what is going to happen. Maybe Ava could... "
"Could what?"
Erenes used her sleeves to wipe the blood from her own mouth. She stared at the werewolves that completely surrounded them. Right now, more than twenty wolves were surrounding them. The other werewolves were fighting against witches and Lycans below the stage. She eyed the other shifters that were fighting against the rogues. Then she spotted Drigo and his wife. However, the rogues completely outnumber them.
Moreover, the King, Ulva, and the Queen weren’t here!
She narrowed at the large wolves. This was the first time that Erenes saw rogues attack like this!
It was coordinated.
It was planned.
She frowned and tried to swallow the blood in her throat.
"Erenes... what would happen if Amore gets killed?" Samuel asked.
"Ava will stay inside the illusion. However, I cannot be sure. As I said, no one was able to live after the forbidden spell has been cast. I don’t know what would happen if someone fights back and was suddenly cut off." Erenes heaved a sigh of relief when she realized that her daughter wasn’t there as well.
She didn’t join the fight!

"Erenes... can you hold on? Maybe Ava just needs time inside." Francheska spoke.
"No. She can’t. We need another plan." Samuel said. "You can take Ava and get out of here while Erenes and I take that woman. We cannot risk it. I am human so Erenes can protect me. Your highness can carry Ava while Jude protects you."
"I agree. We need to get out of here as soon as possible. We don’t really know if someone— "
**AWOOOO**
A loud howl interrupted Jude’s words. Their expression immediately worsen. The wolf that arrived was larger than the other wolves around them. It had black fur and intimidating golden eyes.
It could be someone with the blood of an Alpha who became a rogue!
"What is that?" Francheska asked. "That’s double the size of— "
"Fuck! We’re fuck. It’s coming our way. We need to leave now!" Jude said.
"Alright. Erenes, focus your shield on Amore. Jude and the princess are going to run away from here. On three... is everyone ready?" Despite the current chaos, Samuel still sounded calm.
"One... two..." Samuel started but stopped when he saw that the wolf was already a few feet away from them. "Three!"
The shield that surrounded them disappeared and almost immediately, the wolves poured in.
However, just as the largest wolf was about to attack them, it stopped moving. Then it whimpered.
Then what happened next was too fast even for the supernaturals.
The largest wolf disappeared from where it was standing, its body then smashed into the stage.
Then again.
And again until its flesh splattered on its surrounding.
For a few seconds, no one knew what happened.
They watched in horror as the largest animal was reduced to a mess of flesh and blood in front of them.
"Matthew!" Francheska gasped when she finally saw the man holding the wolf’s legs and lifting it into the air as if it was... nothing. fгeewёbnoѵel_cσm
Matthew stood there in black clothes. He was frowning as he lifted the wolf once more only to realize that most of its body was already too mangled.
On his other hand was a large... telescope.
"Let her go," Matthew said in a voice just enough for Jude to hear. Jude gulped before he slowly put Ava down. Earlier, when Samuel was counting, he panicked and lifted Ava like a princess. "You— " Matthew looked at Erenes.
"Y— Yes?"
"Protect her."
"What about— "
"From now on... focus on Ava and this," Matthew said as he threw the telescope towards Erenes. She caught it using her magick. "If you fail, you die," Matthew added.
This time, Matthew turned and looked at the rest of the werewolves who were acting like they have smelled a stronger predator. All of them growled at him and stopped looking at the other shifters and witches in front of them.
Then Matthew smiled.
What happened next cannot even be described as a massacre. It was complete annihilation. Matthew didn’t shy away from using his speed and strength to tear the wolves apart. He ripped their mouths and used his hand to separate their bodies from their head.
It didn’t take too long before the smell of blood filled the area.
A distinct aura of death and chaos that could easily intimidate anyone surrounded them.
A sea of blood tinted the floor.
Another growl echoed and the other werewolves started to retreat.
In front of everyone else, Matthew slaughtered the ones who weren’t fast enough to run away with the others.
Then another silence followed.
Everyone stared at Matthew. Some were horrified, the others were confused and some were clearly frightened. Despite this, Matthew didn’t pay them any attention as he stared at Ava, his expression was that of someone who just had killed thousands and wanted to kill a thousand more.
"Your Highness..." Ulva walked out from the crowd. "His Majesty wanted to— Ummm!" Ulva stopped talking when Matthew grabbed her throat and lifted her into the air.
"Move," Matthew hissed. Without warning, without another word, Matthew threw her body towards the crowd.
His actions were too quick and unexpected that Ulva took a few seconds to realize that she was going to hit a nearby tree. So, she used her magick to protect herself.
Everything that happened felt like it was a dream. Everyone watched as Matthew walked towards Ava and carried her like his princess. Then he took his telescope and calmly walked towards the palace.
A chill ran down Ulva’s spine.
