The old monk complimented him but was secretly delighted in his heart.
At this moment, the tall and thin monk said, "It's her. She has Buddhist scriptures on her. Take a closer look..."
"What?" The old monk couldn't help but exclaimed, "She?"
"Yes, it's her." The tall and thin monk confirmed.
"Brother, you must be mistaken. This person is in cahoots with that black cat. You know that. How could you think she's related to Buddhism?"
"I know, but I did see that she had a connection with Buddhism, there was no mistake." The tall and thin monk confirmed.
The old monk then looked at Mu Lingjiu hesitantly.
Mu Lingjiu looked at him with her cold black eyes, which made him a little nervous and he subconsciously took two steps back.
"Donor, please continue practicing sword skills. I have something to say to my junior brother." The old monk pulled the tall and thin monk into the house.
After some discussion, the old monk decided to stay and see what the tall and thin monk said.
"Brother, I will only read for one day. If I don't see any Buddhist scriptures that day, I will leave."
"Okay." The tall and thin monk nodded in agreement.
The two of them were meditating in the Buddhist hall, looking outside from time to time.
However, Mu Lingjiu was practicing sword the whole time and did not meditate at all, which resulted in the Buddhist scriptures never appearing.
The next morning, the two men walked out of the Buddhist temple drowsily with dark circles under their eyes.
They stayed up all night, staring at Mu Lingjiu, afraid of missing a single detail. However, Mu Lingjiu did not meditate or practice for the entire day and night!
"I'm old and really can't stay up late." The old monk walked out of the Buddhist hall, yawning and rubbing his eyes.
"Brother, are you guys ganging up on me?"
