The scene became quiet for a moment.
Without waiting for the expected pain, Wei Chen opened his eyes and saw the petite Ye Qin appear beside him, grabbing Misa's wrist.
This scene made Wei Chen dumbfounded. He looked at Ye Qin in a daze, as if he had seen something unexpected.
However, this astonishment only lasted for a second. The next second, Wei Chen seemed to be in extreme fear, and his originally helpless eyes became even more desperate.
This time it was Ye Qin's turn to be stunned and confused. However, while she was stunned, Aunt He had already stood up and quickly pulled Wei Chen behind her. She stared at Ye Qin and Misa and the others vigilantly as if facing a great enemy.
The slap was blocked, and Meisha shook off Ye Qin's hand with an unhappy look on her face. "Are you sick? Why are you stopping me? I heard that you fell and hit your head a few days ago and were in a coma for several days. Is your brain damaged, just like this stupid guy?"
"I have a good brain." Ye Qin stared at the other person, pursing her thin lips.
Ye Qin did recognize this Meisha. Her full name was Wang Meisha, and she was the goddaughter of Wu Mei, the wife of the Wei family's chairman, and was very much favored by Wu Mei. In her previous life, when Ye Qin's security company was working with the Wei consortium, one of their missions was to protect Wang Meisha's daily safety.
This woman was definitely a shrewd and difficult person to please. Several of Ye Qin's bodyguards had been subjected to varying degrees of humiliation and beatings by Wang Meisha. However, since she was a big client, the bodyguards didn't want to cause trouble and chose to endure it.
It was only later that Ye Qin found out about it when he accidentally discovered that his subordinate was injured.
She has always been protective of her subordinates. When she saw her subordinates being humiliated, she immediately tore up the agreement and stopped cooperating with the Wei Group, regardless of how big the Wei family's client was. She even confronted the Wei family for a long time because of this.
Even so, Wu Mei, the mistress of the Wei family, still protected Wang Meisha. She didn't act like a goddaughter at all. She doted on her even more than her own daughter.
"That's good." Meisha proudly crossed her arms across her chest, pointed at Wei Chen with her chin, and said to Ye Qin, "You're here just in time. That idiot stained my skirt, and I'm teaching him a lesson. Don't you like my bracelet? Go slap him fifty times, and I'll give it to you."
Ye Qin stared at Misa for a while, then her eyes fixed on a baseball bat not far away. She walked over and picked up the baseball bat with one hand.
Seeing Ye Qin's action, Misa's lips curled up into a satisfied yet evil smile, "Not bad! You still have a lot of ideas! Just beat him with a stick! Haven't you always wanted to go to the Wei Group's anniversary party? I'll take you there once I've beaten him to my satisfaction!"
Seeing Ye Qin approaching slowly with a baseball bat, Aunt He stopped Wei Chen behind her in fear, "Don't go too far! This is the eldest son of the Wei family! Aren't you afraid that I will tell the chairman and the old man!"
Facing Aunt He's warning, Meisha was not afraid at all. "Go and tell them! Mr. Wei is recuperating abroad and won't be back for a while. As for the chairman, haha! Your chairman's wife is my godmother, and the chairman is my godfather. They usually treat me like their own daughter. Go and tell them, and see if they believe you or me?"
Misa's words immediately made Aunt He look as pale as death.
Meisha looked at Ye Qin triumphantly, "Beat him! Beat him hard! It would be best if he could cripple that idiot! Make him dirty my skirt!"
Aunt He protected Wei Chen and retreated, but there was a wall behind them and they had nowhere to retreat.
Ye Qin, holding a baseball bat, stopped in front of Wei Chen and Aunt He, turned around, raised the baseball bat, and chuckled at Misa, "I'm going to hit you, but not him."

Wei Chen and Aunt He were suddenly stunned and looked at Ye Qin in surprise, thinking for a moment that they were hallucinating.
"Mr. Ye, what did you say?" Misa was also shocked and extremely confused. Then she sneered, "I think your brain is really broken. You don't understand what I'm saying? Hitting us? Have you forgotten the face you put on me before to please me?"
Misa and her group of friends burst into laughter, looking at Ye Qin as if they were watching a joke. They didn't take her previous words seriously at all, instead they just thought she was ridiculous.
Ye Qin scratched her head. Meisha's laughter made her frown irritably. "I don't remember what Ye Qin was like before. Now, the rules have changed. I'm a person who protects people. This man is now my nominal husband, he's mine. If he touches my people, he deserves a beating."
In your previous life, the Wei family protected you and couldn't do anything to you.
Now, you bumped into it yourself.
"Ha! Are you crazy? I think you're really crazy? You think you can hit us?" Misa laughed arrogantly, "Before I regret it, beat him up quickly, or I'll take care of you too! Just being called the eldest young lady, you really think you're a dish. In the Wei family, you are just like this idiot, a joke and a waste!"
After Misa's words, the people around her burst into laughter again.
Ye Qin was impatient. "Tsk, let me ask you right now, who hit him on the head?"
Ye Qin stretched out her little hand and pointed at Wei Chen's head.
The next second, a man with the same exaggerated golden hair as Misa, wearing loose clothes and a sloppy look on his face walked out and approached Ye Qin in a very provocative and unfriendly manner, "I beat you, so what? Believe it or not, I will also..."

Before the blond man could finish his words, Ye Qin had already hit him hard on the head with the baseball bat in his hand.
