Granny Tao led her servants, carrying Shu brocade and jewelry that Jiang Shuwan had asked her to bring.

Chang Mama looked at Tao Mama, her voice filled with surprise, "Did your young mistress really say that?"

"Exactly."

"The young mistress said that she is too small to carry such a precious item. Even if she tried to put it on, she would feel top-heavy and uncomfortable. So she asked us to send it to the old lady. We hope the old lady will not find it offensive."

These words were so pleasing to the ear. Madam Chang nodded and praised, "Your young mistress is so thoughtful."
