Chapter 138 Haircut

The five people who were standing in the shade of the tree saw Jiang Hexi and Zhou Gongqi returning with large bags and small packages, and thought she had robbed someone in the village.

However, something even more unexpected happened next.

After finishing work in the evening, the group returned to the stone courtyard, where a line of about ten people, all of them men, had formed at the entrance.

Jiang Hexi walked to the front of the line and repeatedly apologized for being late.

She instructed Yu Xiangwan to fetch the hairdressing tool kit and asked Chu Yang to bring out a table and chairs from inside the house, as she wanted to give haircuts in the yard.

Yan Jie was deeply worried about her, and he tried to persuade her:

"You can't just cut a man's hair like that. Are you sure you know how to cut hair?"

Jiang Hexi invited Li Youtian to sit on the bamboo chair, unfolded the apron, and tied it on for him:

Yan Jie raised an eyebrow and smiled, "There really is a second half to the sentence, tell me about it."

Jiang Hexi pulled him aside and said in a low voice, "After that, my dad and my brother never let their hair grow long in front of me again."

Li Youtian sat down in the chair and asked, "Xi-mei, what kind of haircut are you planning to give me?"

Jiang Hexi hurriedly said, "Uncle Bao is satisfied with Yan Jie's buzz cut."

Yan Jie's face darkened. "Women can't wear the same clothes as each other, just like men can't have the same hairstyle, understand?"

Jiang Hexi, holding scissors, imitated the old craftsman, making "snip, snip" sounds as she flexed her knuckles.

“My skills are nowhere near as good as the hairdressing master you hired. You think too highly of me.”
