"You said those words, they have nothing to do with me."
Jiang Hexi realized the seriousness of the situation and immediately tried to absolve herself of any responsibility.
"I said it."
Yan Jie readily admitted, "I also said that Xie Wanyi participated in this variety show because of Yu Xiangwan."
Jiang Hexi couldn't resist asking gossipy, "Anything else?"
Do you think Xie Wanyi's impromptu remarks were true or false?
"Half true, half false."
Yan Jie reprimanded her, "These are all the truths. Now you know what to do?"
Jiang Hexi belatedly realized that he wasn't gossiping with her at all; he was clearly speaking well of Xie Wanyi.
She feigned ignorance and asked, "What are you doing?"
Yan Jie patiently advised her, "Advice Yu Xiangwan that there's no need to dwell on the past, don't make things difficult for yourself, and don't fight Xie Wanyi to the bitter end."
Jiang Hexi gave him a cold laugh, "You might as well let me persuade them to get back together. Why go through all this trouble and say so much nonsense?"
Yan Jie lowered his pride and said, "Then, why don't you try to persuade them?"
"It's no use trying to persuade her; Wanwan won't listen."
Jiang Hexi turned her back on him and went upstairs with a flourish.
Inside the luxury RV outside the wooden building.
Xie Wanyi leaned back in her chair, her gaze blank, letting her manager Qin Zheng lash out in front of her:
"Do you know how serious the consequences are for saying those things on camera?"
"Asking Yu Xiangwan to get back together in front of your fans, do you still want to work in the entertainment industry? Do you know that doing this will ruin your acting career!"
"Don't think that just because you're a movie star you can act recklessly. There are plenty of new generation traffic stars in the industry. It's only a matter of time before they want to replace you."
Xie Wanyi glanced up at him and threatened, "At worst, I'll quit the entertainment industry."
Seeing that he looked solemn and showed no sign of impulsiveness, Qin Zheng suppressed the anger rising in his chest.
"Don't think I don't know. You also played a part in those posts that hired online trolls to smear Wanwan."
Xie Wanyi looked at him sharply and said, "Brother Qin, just because I don't say it doesn't mean I don't know. If I do say it, this matter won't pass me."
Qin Zheng: "Why can't we pass?"
Since deciding to participate in this variety show, Xie Wanyi has planned out her future path:
"After my transformation, I will not go back to the old path of a traffic star, nor will I engage in hype by pairing up with other celebrities. If there are any rumors, the person involved will definitely be Wanwan."
"You want to repay Yu Xiangwan everything you owed her back then?"
Qin Zheng finally understood what he meant: "Then focus on movies, hone your acting skills, and become a powerful actor who lets his talent and works speak for themselves?"
Xie Wanyi looked at him quietly, tacitly agreeing with his statement.
Qin Zheng, instead of getting angry, laughed and tried to scold him to wake him up:

Qin Zheng was jolted awake by his reminder.

Xie Wanyi pushed open the car door and left the RV.

The village chief thought about it for a moment, and it was indeed fast enough.
Jiang Hexi added, "Village chief, think about it again. If we had been any slower, we would have had more than ninety mu of land left over; we might have had three hundred mu left."
She leaned closer to the village chief and comforted him, "Does thinking about it this way make you feel much better?"
She actually managed to persuade the village chief; he remained calm and composed, though somewhat puzzled.
"You're acting strangely. Why are you interfering with what this old man is thinking?"
Jiang Hexi stood under the eaves and looked up at the gloomy sky:
"Village chief, now that this rain has stopped, we can't plant anything in the fields for a while. Should we go up the mountain and dig up some mountain produce?"
"What kind of mountain products?" The village chief looked at her with unusual vigilance.
