"I've seen those comments online, saying that you and Yan Jie are some kind of Yan-Xi CP. Mom just wants to ask you one question: are you two actually dating?"
Jiang Hexi never expected that Ms. Zhou would also be at the forefront of gossip and become so nosy.
"Mom, Yan Jie is either insulting me or on his way to insulting me. Do you think I would like him?"
Ms. Zhou was taken aback. "If you don't like someone like him, then what kind of person do you like?"
"At the very least, I would only like someone who treats me as well as my brother and father do."
Jiang Hexi was perfectly clear-headed; she said with perfect clarity:

Jiang Hexi asked her, "Mom, did you and Dad also meet in the entertainment industry?"
Ms. Zhou said casually:
"If you like each other and are well-matched, then why not just get together and live together? That's how life is. There's no need for so much romance; the simple and ordinary is the best."
"improvise?"
Jiang Hexi was utterly incredulous. "It would be more like she was just barely able to give birth to my eldest brother, how could she possibly have given birth to my second brother and me one after another?"
Ms. Zhou was so angry that her face turned red with embarrassment. Too ashamed to argue openly, she stormed out, saying:
"Alright, let's see what kind of person you can bring back later."
After seeing Ms. Zhou off, Jiang Hexi went back to pack up her farming tools.
Then they discovered that no matter how they folded these large items, they couldn't fit them into the small suitcase, which was a bit of a problem.
