Chapter 168 Second Day of Training

Wang Xiaohai drove the school bus to yesterday's training location in just three minutes.

On the way, Wang Xiaohai saw a student waving at him, but he did not stop the car. The student was so angry that he jumped up and down, cursing and saying he would complain.

What was surprising was that Ji Bude arrived at the training location earlier than the two of them.

"Why are you here so early?" Fang Fang walked up to Ji Bude and asked.

"I was afraid that I would become an idiot when I came, so I came early." Ji Bude said.

boom--

The parked bus suddenly exploded, catching fire in the rear and sending thick smoke billowing out.

Wang Xiaohai was closer to the bus, and the pungent smell made him cough a few times.

"The teacher probably won't be here until nine o'clock. He's a tardy guy!" Fang Fang said, and then lay down on a flat, soft patch of grass. "I can catch up on some sleep."

"We didn't come here early to be lazy. Let's do some warm-up exercises first." Wang Xiaohai said to Fang Fang.

"Wake up first," Fang Fang replied.

"Isn't your dream to go to college? Now that you're in, you've relaxed. During the exam, you kicked your own leg and broke it just to get in. Have you forgotten?" Wang Xiaohai taught him.

"I didn't forget!" The little gangster Fang Fang jumped up from the grass, immediately did twenty push-ups, and then started sit-ups.

After finishing sit-ups, Fang Fang grabbed a branch and started doing pull-ups.

"That's useless," Wang Xiaohai said. "The muscles won't recover. You only need to exercise one or two large muscles a day, and then switch to a different exercise position the next day."

"Is there such a thing?" Fang Fang said.

"When exercising, pay attention to multiple sets and high intensity," Wang Xiaohai said. "Push-ups train the chest muscles, sit-ups train the abdominal muscles, pull-ups train the back muscles, and squats train the leg muscles. You have to train them separately."

"If my recovery speed is faster than that of ordinary people, can't I keep exercising?" Fang Fang said.

"Muscles need to grow slowly; they can't grow out of thin air. You need to replenish protein and other energy after eating so that they can grow during rest." Wang Xiaohai explained, "So you need to combine work and rest."

"Oh, how do you know so much?" Fang Fang asked.

"I don't know why I know so much." Wang Xiaohai replied.

"Increase the intensity and number of sets?" Fang Fang asked.

"That's right. It will only be effective if you are exhausted." Wang Xiaohai also lay on the lawn.

"The martial arts academy is so tiring. I want to study at a liberal arts academy, and when I grow up I can go to work in a unit and just be a little gangster in the unit," said Fang Fang.

"The problem is that you can't get into the College of Arts!" said Wang Xiaohai.

"Yeah, it seems like getting zero marks all the time means I can't get into the liberal arts college," Fang Fang said. "That's the downside of everything being based on exams. A talented person like me is being blocked from the school by a single test paper. Do you think that's fair? Is that reasonable?"

"It's fair and reasonable, because you are not outstanding at all," said Wang Xiaohai.

"I'm very good. I can beat most of the boys in any class in the College of Arts." Fang Fang said proudly.

"How dare you say that? What's the point of beating up the students from the Arts Academy?" Wang Xiaohai said, "If you're capable, you could beat up most of the students from the Martial Arts Academy."

Fang Fang immediately wilted. All the people in the martial arts academy were strong and had combat abilities higher than ordinary people. If he didn't fight desperately, he really couldn't beat any of them. Even if he fought desperately, he might not be able to beat many of them.

"So, you're not as knowledgeable as the Liberal Arts Academy, and you can't beat the Martial Arts Academy. How can you be considered superior? Where does your sense of pride come from?"

"I..." Fang Fang couldn't finish, "I'm going to exercise right away."

Wang Xiaohai thought to himself that when it comes to eloquence, I'm not inferior to the little gangster, but most of the time I'm just too lazy to argue.

An hour later.

"Students, are you ready?" Teacher Li Dalong walked over with high spirits.

Wu Ciren followed behind the teacher.
