"Is there a problem?" Lincun didn't understand why the two sea men were so excited.
"You defeated us two just now because we are the lowest-level warriors of the Sea Tribe, what you humans often call cannon fodder," the mermaid said. "We have very powerful warriors in the Sea Tribe, much more powerful than you two! Their bodies can emit golden light."
"Aren't we enemies? Why are you giving me this information?" Wang Xiaohai asked. He saw what looked like several yachts sailing in the distance. He didn't understand why so many people were on yachts so late at night. They were only small to medium-sized yachts, each with about seven people.
"Because we're worried that you two might overestimate your abilities and cause trouble at the Sea Tribe base, and end up losing your lives for no apparent reason!"
"Are you mermaids so kind? Don't you hate humans?" Lin Cun doubted the motives of the two mermaids. He never trusted anyone but himself. In his opinion, stupid behavior was also a conspiracy of the enemy!
"We are just giving you a kind reminder. Believe it or not." The two sea men became bolder when they saw that Wang Xiaohai and Lin Cun did not seem like the kind of people who would kill people at will.
"Where is your sea tribe's headquarters?" Wang Xiaohai asked as if he didn't hear the sea tribe man's words.
"You are so unreasonable!"
The two Sea Clan men slapped their tails on the beach, sending sand flying and their bodies bouncing up. "We're not called Sea Clan Headquarters, we're called Sea Nation! It doesn't matter if I tell you, since many of you humans know where we are anyway. We're at the bottom of this blue ocean! With your current technology, you can't dive that deep anyway!"
"Since you think we can't dive to such a deep sea, then how did humans know where your Sea Nation is?" Lincun asked. "Also, why did you try to destroy the old man with the white beard's fishing net just now?"
"Because our mission is to destroy all fishermen's nets," the two mermaid men shouted. "The Blue Sea belongs to our sea people, but you humans have privately fenced it off and divided up our territory. We must stop this!"
"The blue sea belongs to all life on this planet, not just you sea people!" Lin Cun retorted.
"According to what you said, your land city also has a share of us sea people. Why are we driven away as soon as we come ashore?" The two sea men did not believe Lin Cun's words at all. They thought he was a liar who stood on the side of the human race.
"That's because whoever has the strongest fists and the most power will occupy the largest area." Lincun could only say this. "The human race, the sea race, and other races all divide their areas in this way. If a more powerful race invades, will they still listen to reason?"
The two sea men were speechless. They were rather stupid and not good at explaining themselves, so they were no match for Lincun.
"Stop talking nonsense! What are you explaining to two low-level sea creatures? Let them go." Wang Xiaohai said, "I saw many yachts going out to sea. I guess they are fellow travelers. They must have also received news of the abnormal situation in the Sea Country."
"What? Others have also learned this news?" Lin Cun stretched out his hand and pushed the two sea tribe men towards the sea. "How did they know?"
"Don't forget, they're also gods, they're not necessarily dumber than you!" Wang Xiaohai said, "Maybe they're a little faster than us. After all, we wasted so much time at the protection center, while others were desperately searching for clues."
"What should we do? We're so far behind the others!" Lincun was a little worried. "Some of them have been gone for hours."
"Don't worry, we have helicopters that are faster than them!" Wang Xiaohai said, "This blue ocean is huge. It might take them several days to reach their destination. So those guys who went out on yachts are not heading to the Sea Country, but to a nearby city with airplanes."
"Isn't there any plane in Fanxu City?" Lincun said, "They're going farther than they can get."
"Yes, but probably not many," Wang Xiaohai said. "No more than ten. Luckily we grabbed one first. When you were driving just now, did you see if the fuel gauge had enough to reach the middle of the sea?"
"It should be enough. I don't know how many miles it is from here to the center of the blue sea? But the fuel gauge shows that there is still 85% of fuel." Lincun said as he walked towards where the helicopter was parked.
The propeller rotated rapidly, blowing the surrounding sand into a circle. Then the helicopter body shook violently, slowly began to rise, and soon drove into the starry night sky.
Two hours later.
"We should have caught a sea creature and brought them to the helicopter," Lincun complained. "Now there's seawater all around us, and we can't tell east from west!"
"Pay attention to the stars in the sky. The positions of the stars will not change. Just fly in a straight line." Wang Xiaohai looked at the inky black sea below, as if there was a terrible beast hiding underneath, opening its mouth and waiting for everyone to dive into the sea.
"If we keep flying, how will we know when we will reach our destination?" The helicopter piloted by Lin Cun had already reached the highest altitude, and the fuselage was shaking constantly.
"Lower yourself a little, don't fly too high, and turn on the radar," Wang Xiaohai said. "If I'm not mistaken, we'll be able to spot these fellow travelers on the radar once we get close to the center."
Six hours later.
"The fuel is low. Go to the back compartment and see if there is any spare fuel. Fill it up quickly." Lincun saw that the pointer of the fuel gauge had reached the red line and the speed of the helicopter had slowed down significantly.
Wang Xiaohai rummaged around in the back and found a few barrels of aviation kerosene, which he opened to refill the helicopter.
"Only a little over 50%." Lincun checked the fuel gauge. "Any more?"
