"Room 44? I understand. I'll let you out right now." Wang Xiaohai said, letting go of Old Eddie.
Old Eddie pounced on Wang Xiaohai in an instant. He would take revenge on the spot. This was Old Eddie's character.
The other people in the room opened their eyes and fell asleep again. They didn't care whether others were fighting or not. They wouldn't get up unless a fist hit them on the head. They were tired and sleepy, so who had the energy to meddle?
"You're naughty again." Wang Xiaohai grabbed the quilt and tied up Old Eddie again, then stuffed him under the bed.
Wang Xiaohai quickly walked out of the house, counted the rooms one by one, and when he reached room 44, he pushed the door and walked towards the corner.
A young man with greasy hair was sleeping on the bed in the corner. His body was covered in stains and gave off a sour smell. It was obvious that he hadn't taken a shower for a long time.
"Eddie." Wang Xiaohai held his breath and woke the boy up.
Young Eddie turned over and continued to sleep, as if he didn't feel anyone pushing him.
Wang Xiaohai dragged Eddie out of bed and stood him against the wall. One of the inmates was awakened, opened one eye, looked around, then closed it again and went back to sleep.
Eddie also opened his eyes, then closed them again, and stood in the corner and said, "If you want to hit me, do it quickly. I still need to sleep."
"I was called by Shana to save you." Wang Xiaohai said directly.
