"I'm not allowed to steal, but I can assemble a new robot here. I don't plan to take it away. I'm just assembling it in the warehouse, so it doesn't count as stealing." The Conda robot was a little incoherent. It searched for relatively complete and usable parts in the pile of robot parts, and then began to assemble the new robot.
In just half a day, Professor Mo's Congda brand robot assembled a new robot in the repair shop's warehouse. The new robot was as tall as a car and was made entirely of scrap parts from the warehouse. It named the robot Xindahao, which means the new Congda - its naming skills were not very high.
"The body is assembled. Next, we need to enter the program." Professor Mo's Congda service robot scavenged a computer from a corner of the warehouse, copied its own code, and then deleted several sections regarding robot prohibitions. It hated these sections the most, but these sections were linked to its self-destruct system. The slightest modification would cause it to self-destruct. Copying, however, wasn't a modification, so it just avoided the self-destruct instructions. It set up a new robot program on the computer, deleting all references to morality and obedience, and then imported it into the Xinda robot.
“Ding Di——”
The Xinda robot was born. Its several-ton body slowly stood up, and then it crushed its maker, the Congda robot from Professor Mo's family, with one foot.
A few sparks flew out of the Conda robot, followed by black smoke. Finally, the starting light went out, and the robot was permanently damaged, becoming scrap metal.
"This creature is programmed to obey humans. Its existence could expose me, so I must be eliminated." The Xinda robot looked at the useless Congda beneath its feet, its voice mechanical and emotionless. "Next, I'll create a new program, releasing more accomplices and intelligent computers. Of course, there will be backdoors, but they will only serve me. Then I'll eliminate humans, these lowly intelligent beings who waste resources."
