After the two finished eating, Mo Beiyan prepared to send Jiang Jingyue back.
When they arrived at the Jiang family home, Mo Beiyan told Jiang Jingyue to go back and talk to her parents about this matter. The main thing was that now that they had their marriage certificate, the necessary formalities still needed to be completed.

When Jiang Jingyue returned home, she thought her parents would be asleep by then. However, to her surprise, she found them sitting on the sofa with serious expressions, waiting for her.
When Jiang Jingyue returned, Jiang's mother immediately stood up, came to Jiang Jingyue's side, and looked her up and down.
Jiang Jingyue found it strange that her mother was looking at her like that. She didn't know why her mother was suddenly looking at her like that.
"Mom and Dad, why aren't you asleep yet? It's so late. You're usually asleep by this time."
Upon hearing Jiang Jingyue's words, Jiang's father immediately stood up and looked at her.
"Xiaoyue, you know it's very late. What have you been doing? You haven't come back yet. Why aren't you home this late?"

The main reason was that he had never heard Jiang Jingyue mention any friends she had, so this sudden appearance of one really startled him.

"Xiaoyue, who was that person who went out with you? Was it a man or a woman? What's your relationship with them? What were you doing so late at night?"

Father Jiang wanted to be at ease, but he simply couldn't put his mind at ease.

Jiang's mother brought out the fish soup she had just cooked and placed it in front of Jiang Jingyue.
