Chapter 7
Jupiter 1 system, the fourth black star.
This is a nameless planet on the edge of the Empire's territory, considered a junk planet, marked according to its distance from the Empire. Chaos, disorder, and madness are synonymous with this place.
This is a paradise for insect dealers, space pirates, and extraterrestrial races.
To defend against ground attacks capable of destroying everything, Black Star built a complete underground structure, extending two hundred meters underground, known as the Ant Nest.
The underground space was oppressive and suffocating, with dim yellow lights falling from above. The elevators here were completely different from the highly private elevators on the capital planet; they were empty spaces on all sides, and looking down, you could see a bottomless abyss.
Countless insectoids and other races moved through it, like real ants working together to navigate the swarm.
Hill had been raised in the very center of the Holy City since childhood due to illness, and had never even shown his face to outsiders. He had never seen such a place before, and at this moment, he was carefully and curiously observing everything from behind the Marshal.
He had assumed that the marshal would leave him at the base as he had for the past two weeks due to personal business, so he was somewhat flattered when the marshal brought him out.
Finally, the marshal removed the inhibitor that Lieutenant General Dick had prepared from the essential supplies.
"Take it out."
The stealthy K39 ship has limited internal space.
Hill lowered his head, his ears turning red.
So the marshal was carrying him around as a mobile inhibitor?
Doesn't that mean the marshal is ready to use him at any time?
Thinking of this, Hill's earlobes inexplicably felt hot, and she immediately began to dutifully search for a suitable place.
The underground city is said to offer many ways to have fun. Is the Marshal a regular here? Has he ever bought or sold male insects? Or does he have any particular preferences?
He cautiously observed his surroundings when he suddenly felt an extremely intense gaze, a gaze that made him feel uncomfortable.
Hill looked over despite his discomfort and saw a brown-haired female insect, naked from the waist up, slumped on a dilapidated old mech, drinking.
When she saw him looking over, the brown-haired female insect's eyes lit up, and she made a hip-thrusting gesture towards him.
Although the facial data was modified using a mod, the slender, pale neck without any insect markings still proclaims the noble status of this male insect.
Hill's pupils widened slightly, like the eyes of a cat suddenly startled.
He had little contact with the outside world since childhood, and given his noble status, he had never experienced such direct lewdness or evil.
This innocent, even bewildered, reaction only fueled the strange female insect's interest. He became even more excited, holding the bottle in one hand and reaching down with the other—
Male insects are rare everywhere, let alone such young and inexperienced ones; they're simply uniquely appealing and would definitely be more exciting in bed.
The brown-haired female insect's pupils gradually dilated, and in the next moment he suddenly felt an immense pressure surging around him, so great that his legs could barely support him, and his bones were creaking.
All that could be seen in the dilated pupils was an extreme grayness, a pair of arrogant eyes devoid of emotion.
Hill instinctively hid behind the marshal.
Then he heard a piercing scream, followed by a thud, like a limb falling off.
The elevator was still slowly descending, and only a trace of scarlet blood slid down the rusty alloy steel plate, dripping onto the next floor with a soft thud.
No insects reacted at all; everything here was perfectly normal.
The marshal made no move from beginning to end. Standing in front of him, his broad back and distinct features were enough to keep out any malice and make the insect unconsciously relax.
Hill secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Was it the Marshal protecting him?
Of course, it would be nice if the marshal could give him a hug.
The "Heart-Chasing Insect Manual" says that you need to actively make physical contact to have more opportunities. Is this an opportunity now?
Hill encouraged himself and slowly took a step forward.
Celtic felt a very slight pull, almost none.
For a brief moment, he did feel annoyed. The male insect, which carried his scent, was being seduce by other female insects right in front of him—this was a provocation.
He looked at the male insect to his side and behind.
Hill did not undergo a second evolution, but because it was an overlord insect, it was not short, so it was able to impersonate an adult male insect.
However, the Marshal was simply too tall for a 3S-class female insect. Hill's height only reached the Marshal's chest for the time being. Due to the change in facial data, the Marshal's originally gray and cold pupils appeared even colder, like dust suspended in the universe, cold and hard.
Hill quietly clutched the hem of the marshal's coat, suppressing the pounding of her heart as they met eyes, and said nervously, "I'm a little scared..."
According to the insect-tracking manual, male insects generally prefer softer and thinner sub-females, so showing weakness and ingratiation are essential, and it is also necessary to act pitiful when necessary.
The young male insect's clear eyes shimmered with a faint light; its pupils were slightly widened after being frightened, as if the aftershocks had not yet subsided.
The male insect, pampered and cherished by the empire, had never been to such a place before; his fear was to be expected.
Male insects are like that; they are fragile and need care. Any slight disturbance can cause various problems.
This is one of the reasons why he is indifferent to male insects.
Celtic looked away.
The marshal acquiesced.
The advice in the insect tracking manual was indeed useful.
There were no further problems during the descent of the remaining dozens of floors. The elevator commander finally led him out of the car on the 198th floor.
Hill glanced up; from 200 stories underground, the ground was already an unreachable sky.
If something goes wrong here, is it really possible to call for help in time?
Following the marshal through the long passage, they suddenly entered a vast space, which was a huge arena or auction house.
Hill noticed that various female insectoid races from other realms were imprisoned in cages on the sidelines, while insectoids that had transformed into insectoids were wrestling together on the circular stone surface.
Exhibits and battles coexisted. He followed the marshal upwards, where the exhibits were dazzling. Finally, in the cage at the very top, his pupils suddenly contracted.
It was a slender male insect, completely naked.
He was completely naked except for the silver electrical wires binding him, with the words "B+ grade male insect" blatantly written next to him, 200,000 star coins per night.
Further down, there is a scarlet button with "500 per press" written in messy interstellar language. It is an electrical button, and every time it is pressed, the male insect will emit a painful moan.
The fact that the item was not a permanent auction item meant that his torment would never end.
Hill instinctively moved closer to the marshal, his grip on the hem of the marshal's clothes tightening even more.
Isn't the Marshal going to save him? The Marshal commands the First Army and has rescued thousands of male insects. I am just one of the male insects he rescued, which is why the Marshal doesn't remember me.
"Keep up."
Sensing the young male's hesitation, Celt spoke coldly.
Hill dared not look any longer and quickly followed the marshal into a dimly lit room.
Upon entering, Hill immediately smelled a strong scent of male pheromones. Some males were in their primitivization phase, while females were swarming around.
The chaotic pheromones not only made Hill uncomfortable but also disgusted Celt, who was nearing his breaking point. His cold, sharp gaze swept around before finally settling on the thin female insect lying on the sofa.
"Amos."
The ninth most notorious space pirate on the Empire's wanted list.
The female insect was different from the commonly seen females and sub-females; it resembled a mantis female more, hence its slender build and exposed skeleton.
When he opened his eyes, it became even more certain—he had a pair of covered eyes that terrified insects.
His eyes first fell on Hill, which is normal; in places where there are male insects, the female insects' gaze will first fall on the male insects.
Hill looked at the Marshal warily. Had the Marshal glanced at the male insect in the middle of the female insects at first glance?
Following his gaze, Amos turned to the tall and powerful female insect beside him, licking his teeth with interest: "Here to trade for K16 inhibitors?"
K16 inhibitor?
The Empire's inhibitor development is only at the 14th generation, a new inhibitor? But doesn't the Marshal have me?
Hill felt uneasy until the pirate said the next sentence.
"Your male is quite nice. Interested in exchanging them for fun?"
