Chapter 186 Just strangle him
Lu Qingheng was stunned. What was she saying? But she was so close to him, her beautiful face magnified in his vision, and the fragrance emanating from her body was filling his nostrils. It was as if the emotions buried deep within him for countless lifetimes were stirring, giving him an impulse to embrace the girl in front of him.
“Miss, this name was given by my father. How could it offend you?” Lu Qingheng asked, puzzled.
Han Wei was even more furious. This bastard had been reincarnated without his memories, and he had deliberately made himself look exactly like Lu Qingheng, even using that name on purpose. He was really trying to drive her crazy.
Damn it! Damn it!
She really wanted to strangle the boy in front of her, but looking at his face, she couldn't bring herself to do it. His expression, the way he looked at her, his voice, the tone of his voice—it all resembled Lu Qingheng.
Finally, Han Wei coldly released him, turned around and transformed into a streak of azure light, flying out of the window.
Lu Qingheng's eyes widened. By the time he reached the window and looked up at the sky, the blue rainbow was long gone.
Lu Qingheng stood by the window, completely stunned. Everything that had just happened seemed like a dream. Was that girl in purple a fairy or a demon?
Lu Qingheng had only planned to stay at the Taoist temple for one night, but because of Han Wei's appearance, he stayed for half a month. Every day he anticipated something, but unfortunately, Han Wei never showed up. His family was already urging him to return, so Lu Qingheng had no choice but to go back to the capital.
However, after returning to the capital, he still couldn't forget Han Wei.
Lu Qingheng couldn't forget Han Wei, and Han Wei's heart was also in turmoil. She easily found out Lu Qingheng's current identity: the youngest son of the Prime Minister of the Great Qin Empire, his mother a princess, and he was the apple of everyone's eye.
With his distinguished status, stunning looks, and exceptional intelligence, he differed from Prince Yan, Lu Qingheng, in that he was not sickly. He could ride horses, shoot arrows, and travel extensively. The young ladies of the capital all regarded him as their dream lover, and countless noblewomen desired to marry him.
What does it matter to her how many women want to marry him?
Han Wei stared at Lu Qingheng, who was reading a book, from the eaves of the Lu residence. She thought to herself, "She actually came here to see him. Has she really lost her mind?"
Han Wei turned to leave, but saw an adorable calico cat perched on the eaves. The cat's fur stood on end the moment it saw Han Wei. It immediately turned and tried to run away, but Han Wei sneered. How could she let it escape?
Han Wei transformed into a streak of blue lightning and chased after the calico cat.

Meow~
In the woods, a girl in a purple gauze dress held a cute little kitten. The kitten was terrified, its neck gripped tightly. The girl's murderous intent flashed, and the kitten froze. She smiled and cradled the kitten in her arms.
"Your name is Ling'er, right?" Han Wei stroked the head of the little one in her arms, who was trembling.
"It never let me hold it before, it had quite a temper. Why aren't you talking?" Han Wei smiled as she ruffled the cat's head, applying slight pressure with her hand.
"Spare me! Spare me! Your Majesty, spare me!" Ling'er's childish voice was trembling with sobs, terrified that Han Wei would kill him.
"Your Majesty? Who are you calling?" Han Wei's eyes turned cold.
Ling'er immediately changed her tune: "Senior, spare me! Senior, spare me! Ling'er is willing to do anything for you, please don't kill Ling'er!"
"So cowardly, aren't you afraid I'll kill your master?" Han Wei smiled as she stroked its soft fur.
Ling'er trembled and dared not speak.
"Tell me, what is your master doing here?" Han Wei said coldly.
Ling'er looked at Han Wei with her two jewel-like eyes. What is Your Majesty here for? What else could Your Majesty be here for?
"His Majesty wants you to forgive him," Ling'er said softly.
Han Wei snorted coldly and said, "Dream on! How dare he be reincarnated here and get in my way? I'll kill him."
Han Wei said those words, but when she sensed Lu Qingheng approaching, she threw Ling'er aside and turned to disappear.
"Ling'er, Ling'er—"
A moment later, Lu Qingheng appeared at the end of the path. He saw his cat huddled in a corner, trembling. Lu Qingheng picked it up and stroked its soft fur: "Ling'er, what's wrong? Are you scared?"
Lu Qingheng looked around but found nothing unusual, nor did he see any injuries on Ling'er. He was completely taken aback.
Han Wei stood on the tree, looking down at the boy holding the cat below.
He wore a moon-white robe, and his long, jet-black hair was tied up with a large section of gold ribbon.
In the sunlight, his skin was so white it seemed like you could squeeze water out of it. His golden eyes were as clear and clean as a baby's. As Han Wei looked at him, many memories flooded back, but she quickly recalled unpleasant experiences, and her gaze turned cold again.
Lu Qingheng carried Ling'er away to his study, where he fed her. After a while, he sat down at his desk.
Han Wei saw him pick up the brush from the pen holder and concentrate on painting a portrait of a lady. The girl in the portrait clearly looked like herself.
After Lu Qingheng finished painting that picture, he stared blankly at the portrait of the lady.
He had only seen her once, but from then on he couldn't forget her, longing for her day and night. He gazed at the painting of the lady, lost in his own world, completely unaware that the woman he yearned for was right beside him.
The adorable kitten in the corner glanced at its owner, then at Han Wei, and tried its best to minimize its presence.
As night fell, Lu Qingheng stared blankly at the painting of the lady once more. Suddenly, a figure appeared in his room. As if sensing something, Lu Qingheng looked up and saw that the girl in the purple gauze dress was none other than the one he had been longing for day and night.
She suddenly appeared in front of him again. Is she really a fairy?
“Girl, you…” Lu Qingheng stood up.
Before he could even speak, Han Wei raised her hand, and the painting of a lady placed in front of him flew into her grasp. Seeing Han Wei holding his painting, Lu Qingheng's cheeks flushed, and his heart pounded wildly. Had his secret thoughts been discovered by someone else, or rather, by her?
"Who gave you permission to paint me in a picture?" Han Wei's face was as cold as frost, and her gaze was even colder.
Lu Qingheng blushed and immediately apologized, "Yes, I'm sorry!"
He wanted to say he would destroy the painting immediately, but then he saw the painting of the lady in Han Wei's hand spontaneously combust. The painting floated in mid-air and burst into flames, burning to ashes before Lu Qingheng's astonished eyes.
Inside the room, the young man in the moon-white robe looked at the ashes, his eyes filled with sorrow. He looked at Han Wei, his heart aching. Seeing Han Wei's cold expression, he thought she must have mistaken him for a lecher.
Han Wei turned around and transformed into a streak of light, disappearing into the starry sky outside.
Lu Qingheng stood at the bottom of the steps under the eaves, gazing at the starry sky, lost in thought.
He thought she would never appear again; she must loathe him terribly.
